Is it possible to... Please help

hey i was wondering is it possible to hermi a mother plant in veg? like stress the mother out or something and make cuttings then those cuttings hermi on u because of the mom. or does one have to stress the clone out in flower then the plant starts to turn on u?

heres the issue i have mother plants and have made cuttings for years from moms. but a few clones in week 3 started to hermi and i even saw the yellow banana of death or what ever its called. so i chopped the crop down.

so the question is can a mother plant hermi in veg, or did i stress the clones out enough to start to hermi on me? one thing to note is that i have never had this problom with clones from those mothers in the past.

Interesting... Im just wondering how a plant can be stressed in veg though? If it was harmed in a transplant for example you would wait a few weeks before flowering to let it heal. Sorry if im not understanding...

the only thing im tryin to understand really is i put 60 clones in a flower room in 10 gallon pots about 15 started to grow male parts in week 3. i chopped them all. i want to know why they could of hermied in me. ive made this run for the past 2 years no probloms. i just want to know can veg plants hermi, or did i make a mistake some where.

My guess would be no. The plant would have to show sex before you could tell.
How old is the mother, have you used the same mother for two years? Maybe she is just gettin old.

It's always nice to change up strains anyway

the moms over a year old. can a mom be too old that it starts to turn.

some times u cant change up strains. i think u know what i mean.
