Is it possible to have a high CBD strain that's also uplifting/energetic?

Or do they all create "couchlock"?

I'm prone to anxiety (hence my seeking high CBD) when smoking but would like something that's not so sedative.

They don't all create couchlock. That's more a product of terpenes. I've had uppity high CBD bud. Shark Shock CBD was one. The Haze that CBD crew sells also - i forget which it is.

How are you sure you got a cbd phenotype, did you get the product tested? Might have been a high thc pheno.

They guarantee 50/50 on all of their plants. Some more than others (like 10/10 vs 5/5).

No, I'm basing it on a breeder who has a tonne of experience (Shantibaba: AKA a guy you should be worshipping for the work he has done on your behalf) and offering a guarantee. They bred these plants using chromatograph (liquid or gas IDK) testing. Neither smoke like anything else I've smoked. And I have seen plenty of CBD Crew plants tested and they all fit the ratios the company claims. I've smoked tested plants too that had the same effect.

CBD is not sedative at all. CBN is but most sedation that comes from this plant comes from Myrcene (a terpene).

If you ever smoked a pure cbd plant you would know 1 thing about the high. There is no high. Pure cbd plants don't get you high but help you medically. It's the combination of THC and CBD that get you high.

Canna tonic is more of a hybrid buzz. Also has high thc levels. Harlequin high cbd low thc but couch lock. Acdc is one of the few strains if not the only providing zero buzz at ~22:1 cbd to thc ratio

I suppose what I'm trying to ask is, let's say you have two strains with both at a 1:1 CBD to THC ratio. But one strain has more sativa dominant genetics and the other Indica dominant. Will these two plants produce different buzzes as far as energetic vs couchlock or not? I've seen these high CBD indica and sativa strains offered from certain seedbanks and wondered if it was just for flavor purposes or something more, ie buzz effect. I wondered if they do produce drastically different buzzes despite the 1:1 ratio, as there are many different cannaboids that could be play a differentiating role. Anybody know the answer to this? Thanks.

check out ac/dc strain it's supposed to be 22 % cbd 1% thc it's a phenotype of cannatonic

One thing you can do is just take the plant down early. The high is racier and cerebral than when the plant is taken later.

Sour tsunami is basically a sour diesel ibl with a high cbd twist. It's more of a 1:1 ratio of THC to CBD but its an uplifting and energizing high with great pain relief and no bring down of couch lock. Highly recommend.

It is somewhat impressive just how reliable yodaweed is to be first in with an unhelpful or often incorrect answer.

Your smoking non cbd plants and making suggestions on how to get high, that person might be trying to actually over come a medical problem. How am I wrong? You do realize some people use this for reasons other than getting high right? Please watch this then you will understand more about CBD and how you can use weed for things other than getting high.

Yoda talking about how high CBD plants give no buzz indicates he clearly hasn't tried any before... yet here he is commenting.

The Haze is 70% CBD not 50/50... still gives you a bit of a buzz. Just the way it is.

I haven't treid Sour Tsunami or AC/DC but folks I know who I trust who have say they also give you a noticeable change in mood. But it's not the same. Anyway moving on.

Guy did not ask for a pure CBD strain, simply one that would not give him anxiety or put him to sleep. I think both fit the bill.

I have yet to smoke a CBD strain that put my dick in the dirt, I think you are just smoking regular shit and being told its CBD. Growing seeds from a high cbd parent does not guarantee that the progeny will receive the same blessing.
