Is it okay to use both 6500k and 2700k in both vegging and flowering?

Hi guys recently getting everything i need together im now looking at lights. Ive got a budget and im at my target budget and i plan on growing 2 regular big buds (free with my order) and I have 4 x 30w blue CFL's which wont be enough for two plants, And for flowering i have 5 x 25w Red CFL's and also 2 14w and 1 11w that ive found lying around the house. Now my question is should i use 130w of 6500k for vegging and not use my flowering lights until it is time, or should i add the 125w of 2700k CFL's from the start (to 'bulk' up the light) regardless of the whole 6500k for veg and 2700k for flowering and vice versa. Thanks! :)

I know it would be easier to just buy more CFL's but im on a strict budget :wall:
Hope the question makes sense :)

You can add the red lights as the plants get bigger. The plant will take up all the spectrum of light you offer. Just don't over burn them when they are too little.

Ok mate thanks, Would you say 60w for each plant just until (s)he sprouts a little then i could add the rest of the lights i will have a fan also and check them daily so if all goes well they shouldnt burn

Use them all. Remember more lights = more lumins :)

I use hps400w and 2.5k x 2 cfl 42w ea @ 3k lumins each.
The 6500 I use is a 42w same...

It's all about how much light you can give them while maintaining optimum growing conditions.

(temps, nutes, cycles)
