It gets too hot during the day with the lights on. The temp is just right with them on at night. Right now they are in the veg stage. I'm not sure about mixing their days and nights up like that though during flowering stage. I had some in flowering stage back along with the lights like that and it seemed like they were trying to veg a little bit again. Any of you run into this same thing?

You should have no problem, but what you start with don't change it much.

As spring turns to summer here in the desert, I've considered the same thing but it's too late for me.

its not too late for you. what you do is turn the lights off, and lets say they are in 12/12, instead of getting 12 hours of sleep give them 24. then when they wake up they will be on the new schedule. i have read where several people are doing that. and if they are in 12/12, and havent showed sign yet, then when they wake up they will probably will show sign, even if they arent in 12/12, they will probably show pre-flowers after the long dark period. i run my lights at night cause my grow is in my garage. hope this helps yall out.

I agree with the above comments and have only to add, that running lights at night is not only cooler, but cheaper, as you will be running off-peak rates.

I like running the lights at night as well. But make sure your room is light tight. No pinholes, no cracks, no light around the door, no light period.
