Is it ok to flush/water right before chopping?

I was just wondering... are there any "rules" to when to chop after a good flush or watering? Is it a good idea to wait a few days after flushing to chop or does it even matter? Thanks for any help on this matter!

It does seem to help chopping 3 or 4 days after the final flush - make the drying process quicker, and I'd rather lug dry dirt around that the heavy wet stuff when rearranging.

If you relative humidity is really low like where I'm (at zone 7) like less than 25% RH, I usually would wait at least a day or two after flushing to get a complete 5-7 day dry period. I've noticed that cured smoke is really harsh smoking if the bud was dried in less than 4 days.
