THe sun moves outdoors, what is in the shade now, gets sun later or earlier maybe.
Indoors you sometimes have to be picky, choosing whether to remove the shaded out leaves or the leave casting the shadow. If it is a leaf feeding a primary cola, I have no problems ripping off any larf that might sit in the shade.

Hippies do that?
I'm a fucking hippie, and proud of it. I never cut a leaf off in my fucking life
Don't diss hippies, we invented pot and are the only truly intelligent people on this fucked up planet.
You would be NOTHING without hippies
Peace and love, mutherfucker :)
didnt say every hippie, nobody dissin a hippie, long as youre not the one who made shit up like "snip the fan leaves near the buds for more light" "use red light to feminize seeds" "all girls want threesomes" .....

I do it indoors, but outdoors a lot of times the broken petioles (leaf stems) can start to rot inside the buds and cause botrytis

Are you not using things like neem seed meal? Also if you are that concerned you can use a piece of aloe and rub it over anything that you cut and supposedly it will heal faster.
I'm a big user of Neem ...Cold pressed neem oil

forever on here recommending growers use this organic and systemic option

over those chemical concoctions that may leave you gasping

I also have the biggest aloe vera on the block

I use it as a surfactant at germing mostley

I can't neem seed meal where I'm at

my biggest mold preventive is a weekly spray of neem oil...1tsp to a liter/pint

good luck

Always trim your plants... Any time I have skimped on trimming its affected my yield and quality. Anyone who tells you otherwise is probably one of those cooky 2 harvest nuts. "Dude I can harvest all that larf here in a another month its going to be almost 2 ounces!" Thats such a bullshit way of growing. If anyone paid attention to their plants they would notice the plant will defoliate itself to some degree if you dont. Leaves at the bottom will yellow and then dampen off. I dont see how leaving a dampend off leaf is going to help your grow. Maybe Im missing something?
:weed: YES YOU DO THIS!! Light needs to get in-between!! I do this and they are growing much better.. and YES YOU CAN DRY THE LEAVES AND YOU DO SMOKEbongsmilie 420THEMPPL:hump::bigjoint:

Bruh you did not defoliate anything in that video. You removed dead leaves AKA a little pruning.

To the OP. Your fan leaves are your photosynthesis powerhouses on your plant. She will let you know when she's ready to get rid of them (like in the pruning video above) and then you can pull them (also refer to the video above). The only time I would recommend defoliating is if you have some monster colas and are having humidity problems that could lead to mold.

I would assume you grow organic by the way you talk so how are you so salty bro? Maybe you need a flush ;)
Maybe because you say shit like leaves damping off. Seedlings do that.

You recommend cutting healthy leaves off. If the plant doesn't want or need it they will fall off.

You recommend flushing. May e if you didn't feed them to the point if frying the leaves off you wouldn't need to flush. That is evident by the pic in your avatar.
