I'm new to growing. So. It's all very interesting to me. Does anyone else stare at their plants and just look at every detail? I love doing this. May be weird... I don't care.

I think this is very common with gardening in general. It's something to focus on and create that is a stay from the day-to-day stresses of life.
"The best nutrient is the growers shadow and the best training method is their breath"

Unless you smoke cigs, then you need to leave them the fuck alone.
i vape... but i dont vape AT my plant, i vape out of the grow room, the fans carry it out lol i absolutely love that quote..

pothos or devils ivy is a good, easy to care for house plant, as is dieffenbachia, or dumb cane.
i keep a big planter of rosemary outside my door in the summer, its hard to smell anything over rosemary 3 feet away.

I am in the process of setting up a full hydroponic vegetable garden for my wife and building the lights. She is growing Tomatoes, Cherry Tomatoes, Spinach, Bell Pepper, Jalapeno, and Cucumber.

Some look at their plants and only see dollar signs. Other looks and only see relief from their stress, pain and insomnia. To me, I study pheno's, and I like to look at each plants individuality- how they are different yet the same.

Was listening to a pod today and they were talking about certain microbes in soil produce a sense of well being.
Not sure if true but I don't doubt it.

There is that gardening helps depression thing also.
The grow room is like having nature right in the house

Of course I do, I look over as much as I can without touching her so I can spot the slightest thing going wrong on what is currently only my third ever plant.

I think such paranoia is perfectly normal
