Is it Best to Refrigerate for Long Storage?

So when if at all do you guys put your "curing" weed in the frig?

Just curious, ive had mine in mason jars for about a week and a half so far after hanging for 5 days.

Its cool and dark in the closet. Just wondering if it should go in the frig for long storage time?????

I have never, and would never, store my smoke in the fridge or freezer. A friend's dad smoked when we were real young, kept it in his freezer and we would pinch some once in awhile but it always had that freezer-burn taste, and almost always gave us a headache. From what I know also, the cooler air even in a refridgerator is cold enough to break off the trichomes, thus leaving you smoking what basically amounts to leaves and impotent bud. Long-term storage in the mason jars or well sealed bags is done by simply puuting it in a cupboard or other darkish place.It will not go bad, it is not perishable, so no need for freezing or keeping it in a refridgerator.

Hey thanks for the info. Im glad to hear it will last a long time.

Hey, after its cured in the jars after like a month do u still need to crack the jars every so often? Maybe once a week?
Im cracking them every 2 days right now.
