is it bad to have a blue led on the plants during flowering? my main light is a 400w hps

No in fact that be a very good thing, mentioned in Ed Rosenthal's new book

if you have the hps on them then anything else is extra and supplemental. just because the spectrum may not be ideal doesn't mean you are hurting them. i'm sure the plants would love it.

a bit of blue spectrum definitely helps during flowering.

suplemental lighting is ALWAYS a good idea
