Is commitin suicide illegal??

I mean I didnt want to ask anyone i know cuz they'd be all like wtf??, and this isnt a personal issue. but i didnt know i was just wondering is commiting suicide actually illegal?..i mean do the fed's just send w/e relatives you got this huge bill sayin. Yeah he got his lungs thrown on this mail man's face and his blood totally soaked these senior citizens that were in the car he fell onto soo...Were gonna need this money.....

Attempting suicide is illegal, people who commit suicide are exempt from prosecution.. civil or criminal. I don't believe there is actually a "suicide law", but if you are a danger to yourself or others, you'll be put in protective custody and probably sentenced to a mental institution where you'll reside until deemed fit to rejoin society.
