is clone stretch the same as 'from seed' stretch?

so i'm growing a clone that was cut from a mother who finished out at 29 inches
if i flower the clone at the same point - i.e. same height and # of nodes
will the clone behave the same way as the mother did?
i am phrasing this question a bit differently from another thread, pretty important to me due to limited grow height(30 inches)
i could top, LST, but the mom grew very nice in the 'natural' way, so trying to repeat conditions as close as possible

Logically speaking....if all of the conditions are exact then, yes. The genetics don't change, just the environment.

thanks for the info, +rep for help
i've seen 2 categories of opinions, so it's a bit confusing
the other info i see is the clone has a degree of higher maturity than does a seed seedling
many seem to say from seed, a plant will not really get to the 'maturity point' until about 10 inches or so
but certainly the genetics are the same

yeah no a clone won't really grow like a seed will.. unless you clone the top of a plant.

i think this is the 'black art' of growing, or at least one of them
how much of a difference seems pretty tough to gauge
so i've decided to switch to 12/12 with the clone at 7 branch nodes, mother was flowered at 5
we will see how the comparison will work out
thanks for info, i'd rep you again, but system prevented that

wow what strain? It finished at 29 inches after flowering at 5 nodes? I have some stout little indicas, unkown purple from seed. I want to sex them and am force flowering at about 5 nodes, maybe 7 if you count the small new ones. I was afraid they were too immature and I might cause hermies! Theyre 3-6 inches. That mama musta been kinda stretchy.

Ive been curious about the difference myself, Ive read a mature vegging plant will stretch and get uneven internodes before showing preflowers. I never noticed this outdoors, but they mighta. This is my first Indo. The clones I got had uneven nodes, I was afraid they werent getting enough light. Didnt show preflowers till almost a foot tall! My little indica seedlings still have very even nodes.

strain is nl#5 from highgrade-seeds - and you're right, this has been one tough strain
no hermie(knock wood!) traits so far
i have seen that mentioned about the uneven nodes
but this plant's nodes were nice and even as it went into flower

based on you interest, i guess pics might be useful

this is what she looked like at 19 days, this is when i went 12/12

and here she is a day 92, and what sweet lady she was

she was a nl#5 from highgrade-seeds, first grow from this breeder
i had no complaints, other than the weed was a bit overpowering till i got used to it
a head rush that makes you grab hold of the chair so you don't fall out

for me, an at home smoke
the head rush goes away after a month or so, tolerance i guess
using for anxiety issues, and is working pretty good
i only vape about 1/20 of a gram at a time
but i couldn't really imagine smoking a full joint of this
i did light up a bowl accidentally in my vaporizer, that was quite the 'thump' to the head and body

went back to my old grow log, started seeing pistils at 2 weeks
i'm at 7 inches now, at maybe 7 nodes or so
so i've thrown the switch, 24 hours dark just finished, 12/12 cycle just started
she really is exploding, looking beautiful, i'll post a pic in a few minutes

i looked over here nodes, and they are uneven, just like they are supposed to be for flower
stretch is the question, hoping i don't get more than 4x from this point

nl is a short indica, this strain did finish at 29 inches the 1st time without training, that's pretty short
the leaves are looking thinner this time around, well, i've been told to expect differences from seed and clone
the lights are 3 27w cfls, you may think that's low, but the mature plant that you can see on the previous page was done with just that cfl set, a total of 78w(those are the 2700k)
still using 3 27w 5500k until i see pistils, stretch isn't bad(or so i think)
