Looking very good there, Cali soul! I laughed when I saw the pic of your new bag of coco.... I just got the same stuff for my next run...BigCity hydro-mix. But I am not excited about so much perlite in it...it may dry too fast, idk. Then I see you used to use cns17. That's what I am using now. Why the change, was something you not like about it? I 've just getting it dialed in good, third run with it. I add only LK, Pro-Tekt(silica), and this run I am gonna do the DripClean thing and lesson the flushing 15-20% every time I hand feed. What do you figure the teas to add? Looks great!! gman

hey wats up growinman thanks for stoping by, not at all man I love the cns17 . But I figure I give the kind a run to see wat results I get. I like the fact that cal mag and LK are dismissed , less money for me . I also use protek thru out veg and flower. Yes I noticed it hydro city dose have quite bit of perlite. Also thinking about that slacker coco from botanicare . Looks like that coco can hold alot of water .about the teas I haven't made me a home made Bennie tea or compost yet, sounds interesting but I also use pure blend tea rite now at the moment and its great

:weed:......well, sounds like you have a great plan to run by!! I haven't used the 'teas' in coco yet....of any kind, and hope I don't find a need, and think the LK is a far as I need to go for that, lol. I haven't found it necessary to use the cal/mg, as cns supposedly is good to go with that in this 'newest' version(I guess/hear you really were starting with a cal/mg def the way the 'gro' was a few years back--but what do I know). I have it at the ready as I 've always needed it when I ran canna, which I love!-->just couldn't justify the $$ after so many years and.....thought this sounded cool, and is proving to be real cool, so far......... I just got a group into the 12/12 and in this new coir.....so far this hydro-mix stuff is seeming awesome....it's holding the moisture better than I had thought from the looks of it. -->strange looking/interesting stuff, to say the least. And I didn't flush it either(may pay for that one) but I cant believe that after the first watering(mix was about 6.0pH) that the runoff was 5.6.... So they must have some serious buffer in there....idk. This'll be interesting, for sure. I running my script as usual and this is kind of a side experiment; just hoping I get lucky too. Have a good weekend!! gman
