The "end of summer sale price" ($1,550) seems a lot more reasonable than the regular price and it's competitive with the sunlight sheds mini cab I've had my eye on for a while. This looks like a pretty good deal. I just wish their website didn't suck so badly.

BTW, you will always have half a dozen DIY guys telling you that you can build one yourself for half the price. Funnily enough, when you ask them to build one for you at half the price, they go all quiet. I could probably save money (eventually) by working on my car myself, but I'd rather pay someone who knows what they're doing to do it right first time.

there is a similar cabniet at my local hydro shop the thing is bitchin.. for only $750 with everything, (reflector, filter, fans etc.) but the light bulb.. its a good idea. just not tall enough to flower your pot. im building a similar one with a taller cabinet. :)

This is the box I use, its called the producer. BC Northern Lights - Grow Your Own the boxes are made of aluminum, very light and everything is really "Built" in, no slapped together shit here.

Check out some of the grows people are doing with these and the bloombox, straight up good shit. We get about a pound to a pound and a half every 2 months here.

I was talking from expercance I bought a mini fridge from homegrown
waited over a month and lied to at least 3 time was told it will ship and didnt.
When I did get it tried to run it it ran at a cool 115*
Had to rework the cooling and for the price was very disapointed.
I built a cab on my own and am much happier then with the fridge
And the mini drier nothing more then a tupperware tub with a fan and some PVC Pipe and screen maybe $50.00 in material cost $299.00 you do the math

Thats a TON of cash and the "end of summer price" includes almost nothing. When you get done inserting all the basic stuff you will need, it comes to over $3100.00 BUCKAROONIES!!

Check out the cool cab or the caddy in the below link. Its $1000.00 cheaper and has alot more verticle gowing space.

imo, if you don't like diy, and you've got the money to spare and don't mind waxing an exta $1000, then buy it.

even though it is overpriced, it is a considerably good system.

heres my two cents dude.

Ok, you wanna buy a growbox, rather than DIY, and thats totally cool.
BUT,
if your gonna get a box, just get the box, and nothing prefabbed with it. Buy a growtent barebones, and outfit it on your own. BUy your own lights, ducting, fans, and everything else you need to get your grow on. You would be spending way less than what you woudl spend on your prefabbed outfitted box, seriously. You can snatch a growtent that works like a charm off of ebay for 140 bucks - n thats one of the 4x4x7 tents, way bigger than your sun shed. Ive seen them in person, and while they really are nice, a tent would be more practical for growing anything more than 3 plants.

now, ill break the list of shit you can get down for under 1500 bucks.

TENT - $125-200 depending on the size u want
LIGHTING - 400w $150-$225 , 600w $250-$350
Ducting - $19 for 25 feet of ducting
Fans - 1 Vortex fan - $130 bucks--one 80cfm blower $19.95

n the rest is growbags, nutes, n soil. i outfitted my whole setup for somethin like $650, lighting n all - but i found some awesome deals on Ebay. You could too though man. Just try n save as much as you can, there are other growrooms out there that are aLOT better than this one - i know its cool cuz its in a steel casing and has a lock on the door, but growtents can be locked aswell.
Just think before you jump brother.

N good luck!!

I built the tent itself for about $50... it's 36x20x60...

Fully outfitted... I've got about a grand into it... but that includes...

170 CFM cool tube...

600 watt HPS...

440 CFM exhaust ...

440 CFM intake with speed controller dialed down to 300 CFM...

and a bunch of other little doodads...lol...

With the light 10" from the plants... I can bring it down to 65F.. but keep it at 75F with the thermostat...

here it is... almost ready...

Cheers...

I have the Cultivator Pro; the big brother to the Flowering Chamber and LOVE it!!!! It was a bit pricey, but it works good. The guy on the phone told me it would take 3 weeks to build, but took almost a month to actually get the unit. However, it was worth the wait, and I am happy with the customer service I received from Homegrown Hydroponics.

Im planning to buy an expensive grow box (THE FLOWERING CHAMBER) PLEASE review the video and let me know your opinion.

Flowering Chamber : 4-32 Plants : Modular Grow Box Series

Should i get it?

Is that the best grow box i can get to grow my pot?

Is there a better option?
