Is a clone a "plant"

if it doesn't have roots is it a "plant" or is it "plant material"? i would say it is a piece of a plant and therefore not a plant itself.. has anyone ever heard of a case where this was the ruling? I think it could turn a manufacturing charge into a simple possession. what does everyone think?

im not sure, i think the laws are different depending on where you are. but i agree it could be dangerous to have a lot of clones without knowing if they count as plants or not

If you're trying to argue that a clone shouldn't count for the number of plants one can own.. don't bother, it's failed multiple times as they go on the normal definition of 'plant', not whether or not it has root.

how can they prove they didnt cut the plant up into little pieces and say there where more then there really were.

nah they are not gonna waste time cutting your plants up into clones to frame you.. they may PLANT other crap in order to get a more serious charge.. you know that's if the cop is bad..
