Would you like to go all day without some rest?

It will survive through veg and all, and might look good. But I personally Highly recommend you letting your plants sleep for like 6 hours lol.

I always veg 24/0 right up to flower. I think they like the consistancy and flower sooner when given 12/12.
Had a guy tell me once that it would not produce roots if not given darkness. lol. I repot right before flowering and the pot is always full.

I've read experiments where they've tested how much light a plant can use in a day for photosynthisis and anything past 18 and the plant just doesn't do anything more. I don't think it hurts them but they just don't use all the extra light for photosynthisis. So your just paying for extra electricity.

I agree. While the plant does not absolutely need the darkness, I've always noticed that the plants get a nice little growth spurt during the dark period. I've tried 24 hour light and it works fine, but I notice more new growth after the lights go off for awhile. All things need rest.
