Is 150 PPM tap water okay to use for soil?

I have 150 PPM tap water at 8.5 PH. I used some acid to bring the PH down to 7. Is the PPM to high?

7 is ok, but 6.5 would be better

i didnt mean for the ph i meant for the ppm, however, personally if im growing my OWN stash im using ro bought water, if i plan on selling the bud, it doesnt really make a difference to me, all preference, in hydro water shoul be 5.5-5.8 pending strain and 6.2-6.5 dirt

Sounds good. My soil runoff is very acidic right now. Around 5.5 PH. That's why I didn't want to go any lower on the PH. using neutral water and some pelletized lime to try and bring the PH back up
