2nd attempt! Hope they are female(fingers crossed).
I have 2-65w Fluorex brite white security lights(6500k each).
1-15w Growl Led.
2-65w Cfl's (2700k each).
Grow area is 30"w x36" d x 4' tall.
My question is would 1000w, 600w, 200w be too much light? I have the chance to buy a 1000w switchable available Tuesday for $292 dollars or is this too much?

Plants are 7 weeks old- 4 days flowering.
Also have a 9" oscilating fan on them during lites on.

The 1000 might be a little overkill, but it won't be enough to kill them. I'd go with the 600 if I were you, as it's about perfect. A 400 would also work okay, but that sized area is starting to push it's coverage limits. A 200 is too small. Go with a 600 if you can, as that's the best option for that sized growroom.

i would go with the bigger light put a couple more plants in and place the light higher
i would only get the bigger light so that I could expand in the future.

I second the 600. The 1000w could be a lot more hassle when dealing with temps in that area. Another thing is with the limited height is light bleaching with the 1000 which I even experienced with a 600 too close with temps under control.

Dude I grew with a 600 twice and I was pretty happy... But once I grew under the 1000 There is no comparison....1000's kick ass... Mo Light Mo Better!!!! Peace

If you can manage the extra heat and cost 1000 is the way to go, no if's buts or ands about it. Bigger and heaver buds for sure, 600 is fine but light is much like horse power, bigger is better.

292$ is about right with a gull wing reflector and 50$ bulb. Get a better reflector if you can afford it.

Peace
