4 plants, 30 days into flower, the one has almost completely yellowed and shed it's leaves, the flowers are burnt at the tips and pretty crispy.....the others three are starting to look yellow at the top, which happened first, then begin yellowing fan leaves from the bottom to the top.
My reservoir is only 7 gallons or so, the water evaporates fast and the ph is constantly rising, each evening I adjusted it from 6.2-6.4 to 5.7-5.9 I think the pH fluctuation caused sulfur to be locked out. When I saw the yellowing I thought N deficiency, so I raised the one part flora nova bloom to 1500 ppm. Then the other 3 started showing signs of nute burn, so I decided it was lock out and started flushing with fresh pH'd water 5 days ago. After 4 days the ppm had rose from 20 to 500. I traded for fresh water again last night and have been trying to keep the pH below 6.
Also, these are new 6" pots that only had 4 small holes at the bottom that the hydroton could plug. I noticed a few weeks ago the healthiest one has a huge pillow of roots under it and the others have little to none. I cut some windows in the pots thinking they were possibly root bound. It is a solid nest inside and they didn't come out. Last night I cut the bottom off the pot on the one that is in the worst shape....
The pictures show the yellowing process of the leafs, and some from today, then some from a week ago....
Does this sound accurate? What does it look like to you guys?
