I just picked up one of those 300w lights, its my first LED so hopefully its a decent one! I mostly chose this model because it was available locally for pick-up after having complications when trying to order one to be shipped. Please let me know what you think of these models and perhaps if you have one in particular you think is really good as I would like to order more soon! GL on final weigh!

Very nice! Any guess on yield?
not sure? maybe a little under a pound from these 4 girls, expect to lose a little yield from the organics?

this grow was done with the GLH 300w models, the older ones. i think their great and had great results. i am about to try out the new 2011 models ones.

Thank you for the input! That sounds very promising. Have you tried any other LEDs? I'm still gathering as much info as I can before making another purchase, but so far I've been most interested in ISIS, Blackstar, and the latest GLH models....

yup tried others and have threads on here on those grows.

the Black Start are a scam and dont drawl the power they claim, very misleading. their 240w only drawls 133w. i have no idea what ISIS is? be-careful when buying leds really do your homework and make sure you get the best leds, look for journals that have great results before you but them to make sure you get what you want. i for one have used other leds and seen allot of other leds grows and wouldn't change out my GLH leds for any other led company at this point and time

Here is a link to the ISIS light I was considering.....

http://ledgrowlightsdirect.com/isis-fx2/

I have heard people speak well of this company, but I'd really love to hear what your thoughts are on this
light compared to the GLH 2011 model you are referring to.
i see scam already 1 their is no way 400w of led is going to match 1200w of HID..lol.. never buy from a company that claims that. and these lights will produce heat its also a scam. save your money bro

i would go with whats proven by a ton of growers including me and go with the GLH lights.

I didn't believe that claim either but I see many LED companies making exaggerated statements all the time, that doesn't mean they don't "work",
but it does show negatively upon them. Well be sure to let me know (either a reply or PM) if the owner of GLH lights has any good deals
going for your thread followers on the 2011 models ;)
And thanks for all your input and your threads, +rep

ya bro i will never by from a company making those claims, these are the guys who give leds a bad name because people fall for that BS and then dont get close to those results and blame led tech.

I can get a discount for all of my thread follows even on the new 2011 models.

regardless if you get the GLH or any other led make sure you do your homework and dont listen to what the company's say just look for grow journals showing how they work

I'm very interested in the 360LED models, do you happen to know if they work on 220 also? I'd like to plug them directly
into a CAP light control box if possible. Major props on the Hindu Skunk 420magazines plant of the month and hug of the
month, thats pretty impressive. It speaks highly of you and of the potential of these lights...

theirs a 390w model now, i here the lights will work on all plugs? the cords plug into the units i think for this reason? i think can just put in a certain cord to fit that needed plug in the wall?

thanks for the kinds words on my awards, i also just won both Plant and nug of the month on a different site the other day

I assumed they should work but its better to find out for sure! Congrats on the additional awards, what were the strains you ran this time? Also I mis-spoke, I meant the 395w models - basically I'm redesigning my room and it includes a 6 x 8 Flower chamber and I am trying to decide what is the best way to set that up with LEDs and so far I believe these are the way to go. Obviously I am mostly concerned with their ability to work, but I feel confident these will work nicely, but also I need to weigh price in the overall decision. Depending on what type of arrangement I could work out will have an effect on what I can go for ;) Congrats again, were these all won with LED grows? Do you feel 100% LED room > part LED/part HPS room? Thanks!

all of my grows are 100% led and i wouldnt change it, sold my old HPS setup.
the winnings were done from Hindu Skunk since thats all i grew for a while, and these Jacks arnt dried and ill wait to enter those ones.
in that setup i would maybe think about the 290's.. all the lights are changed it now goes 180w,290w,500w on the brand new ones. his website is getting worked on and is waiting for all the lab test to be completed before he launches the new site.

i a thinking maybe a few 290's would be the way to go in your setup to get more foot print for around the same price. i can say i havent gotten a harvest yet where the 1st one didnt pay for the lights used on the 1st run on savings on meds. HPS is also a great light and grows nice plants. leds isnt more of a deal on using less watts to beat HPS you can use a little less and beat HPS but nothing crazy like most company's claim ie. 90w=400w hps bullshit. leds are more for growing better quality meds and helping with high temps and just having a easier setup no ducting running to the light not needing to be air cooled and throwing off allot or radiant heat at ur girls. having 1 lights to do everything from start to finish. i never seen led mixed with HID not sure how they work together? just remember every led light is different its all about the wavelengths that are used.

IF thats the case, I agree I think I would be most interested in the 290s, will he be ready for new orders soon? I'd likely be interested in about 4 (with the right deal ;) ) to start with and if things look good I'll be ordering more down the road no doubt. I totally agree that almost all the claims out there are pretty far fetched. From the many threads and grows I have been able to watch/read it seems .75-.90 gram/actual watts seems more realistic so far ;) but again this is just based on what info I have been able to obtain prior to making my own runs...
So all of them won with the Hindu Skunk? Nice :) I'll have to try that one indoors sometime down the road

you would have to tlk to him, i have no ideas about his orders or how that works, i dont work for him. i just grow and he donates lights to me to show you guys and its like a payment for doing all the journals i do, its a win win for me.

you all won with Hindu Skunk but these new jacks will take the title also IMO

just make sure to tell mike i told you about a discount and that you have been supporting my threads for a while

Niiiiiice harvest man, much respect. What hight do you usually let your plants get to during vegging before you switch to 12/ 12 with led's? 2 of mine are about a foot right now. One looks like a indica/ sativa mix and one looks mostly sativa, its got huuuge long fan leaves

thanks bro.

i let them get around 12"-16" some times 18" depending on the strain. if i dont know the strain i go 12" or with sativa mix.

Dry weight from the 4 plants is 383.3g or 13.7oz so thats 3.4oz per plant of top grade organic buds. their kinda on the crispy side, basically really dry at 59%RH

some dry pics from a friends camera.

Those nugs look great Irish. 13oz is a good size harvest man. Good job!

I'm gonna try and shoot for 2 oz per plant with the 500 GLH I just got :)
