i have a problem, actually had it for a few years but never cared untill now.i have my room set up with a carbon filter on a passive intake system.my room draw co2 from the gas furnace, but my furnace also draws stinky air from room into the furnace and blows it through the house,it wasnt to bad but bad enough,i was thinking of putting something to clean the air in the furnace room, what would be better a ionizer or ozone generator.i read were albuct said that co3 or something was hard on steel.i do not want to install anything harmful to people or house structure, and i grow for flavour, which i dont want to lose,so please any ideas welcome, again no search engine because of virus.and search on here pulls up one thread.

I have a little ozone generator that comes on twice a day when no one is around the house. It is just outside the door to the g. room. In the manual that came with the machine says that in larger quantities ozone is dangerous to humans. Mine is a cheaper model, so more expensive ozone generators may not produce harmful ozone, or not as much.

Hope this helps!

Only used it twice a day because of that friggin warning in the manual. The Ozone generator is smaller than a bread box. It takes about 15 min. to "clean" a room the size of a bedroom. I come home about an hour or more after it turns off and I can only faintly smell ozone. The thing does work with all but the stinkiest of girls.

OZONE stinks real bad!!!!!! and it is HIGHLY toxic to plant, humans and animals in high amounts. Go with a ionizer if u can i would not use a ozone generator, even the exepensive ones smell its the way they work to emit the ozone

Infact id say it would smell worse than your smell problem u have now. i turned a small one on (20W i think it was) for about a min and the whole room stunk.
