Ionic pro

Has any one ever used one in their Groom? Will it do anything with smell? Maybe present a better atomosphere? Thanks all RIU is the best!!

I was thinking about buying one for myself, however, I hear two things about them. One, do not put it in the grow room itself, rather outside in a differant room. This is because it will take all the smell off the plant, and turn it into oderless weed. And two, they work, but are a pain to clean constantly. After all my research, I am going to buy Amazon.com: Ionic Pro CA200T Twin Pack Compact Ionic Air Purifier with Bonus Car Ionizers: Home & Garden. Best bang/buck I have found, and you can even give the other one for a good christmas present.

Are you sure about taking the odor right off the plant? I have that exact one. Cleaning it isn't that bad, just a few whips and its good. I have it just chilling in my bedroom and it'll last 3,4 weeks before I start to hear cracking, or the red light pops on.

ehhh, its perfectly fine to put an air ionizer in the same room as the plants. you WANT the smell to be at a minimum, and there is absolutely no scientific evidence to suggest that it would actually have an effect on the plant itself - just the air around it. cleaning can take about 2-10 mins depending on how dusty the wires are, i havent used mine in a year or so cus it stopped working. i would have to clean it every month or so, if i didnt it would crackle a bunch.
