Hello, I have two plants that are 3 weeks old tomorrow. I have just transplanted them from 16oz cups to a 1 gallon pot. I have a quart of Fox Farm Grow Big coming tomorrow, can I use it right away or should I give my plants time to adjust to the transplant pot if it even matters? Also, I have not used any nutrients on the plants yet, should I go 1/3 strength or 1/2 strength with the nute? Thanks!!

I started with a 1/4 of teaspoon per gallon of big grow every other water. I am now giving them a full teaspoon every other water. I have not done any heavy feeding.

per gallon? i'm feeding by the qt. so I was thinking about doing 1/4 tsp. per qt., then working up to 1/2 tsp.

i am doing my first grow right now, and here's what i've done (look at my pics and decide for yourself if my plants seem happy )...

i fed as soon as i repotted, but my soil doesn't have much in the way of nutrients. i used b'cuzz cocosubstrate, which i don't think has any nutes, but i added earth worm castings, and i have watered twice so far (since repotting), using about 1.5 gallons for the entire grow. my watering can is a half gallon, so i add one tsp per half gallon... it's on the heavy handed side of things, but the plants seem to be liking it so far.

so, when i transplanted, i watered (w/ff gb), and didn't water again for 5 days. now that the plants are getting alot bigger, and after checking out their soil today, i think i will water tonight when they go to sleep. if i water tonight, then i will have watered after 4 days this time. click on the link in my sig if you want to see how my plants are doin- seem great!
