they do not, and will not cater to growers and even when they do have inventory the 3000-3500k we like are scarce

Thanks to you guys I was able to whip up this 6 citizen 1212 led light. Not completely done but completely stoked. Glanced at it during first powerup and think I got welders burn. Running these of a Meanwell 320-1400 driver. Just thought Id post my progress...

cobkits, when do you think you will have the 120mm passive pin heatsinks in stock? also the ideal adaptors?

could I use the heat sink for the clu058 and drill-tap for the clu048 holder?

Clu58 and clu48 different mount holes clu58 bigger chip, but essentially you can drill those holes also if you wanted to.

2 weeks for the ones drilled for -048

yup and if youre not super picky about it being dead center you can use use an existing hole and drill one more and youre in business with a BJB (or ideal with no reflector- ideal+reflector takes 4 holes tho)

Most excellent, i too am waiting for those heatsinks to get in. Will place an order for the cxm22 at the same time.

My rig will consist of a couple of qb's and a bunch of cxm22s.

I was considering grabbing the 50v veros, but will stick with the cxm22s. You have been far too helpfull on this site for me to not order from you. Many thanks and keep up the dank work.

Hey Cobby, I am going to change out my 6 2700k 1212 90cri with either 1818 gen6 3k 90cri or cxm22 3k 90cri, between those two which one would be the biggest step up, i know they are probably pretty close. im plan on running these one the same driver a hlg 185a....that will be fine right?

Hey I'm looking at your lumonis 50v cobs and I'm Wondering if a Mean well 185h c1050a would be a good choice for running 3 of them? Also if a 3.5in by 20in by 1 inch thick active heatsink would also work?

heatsink seems on the smaller side. maybe try a similar profile in @bggrass 's calculator and see what length it gives you


185-c1050a would run it, it does 190V
hlg-120H-48A would run 3 at about 980 mA each
