The 30w 2828s are what I want. Theyre fuckin $4.50...
why dont you get up off that 90 bucks and order 20 of them puppies and build us a cheap ass light :)

but really man,how much cabbage can a dude really make selling 100 cobs at 4.50 per cob ? you would have to sell thousands of those things

guys $25 AUD approx USD18, that DHL 2 day delivery
Cheers
Mark
Hmm...website said $25 estimated shipping, which is what scared me off. Shipping from Europe or Asia is usually under $10 to me, but it's not 2-day either.

Ah, I see, even after you select your country it's still in AUD.

Apologies @welight . $18 is still a bit high, but not crazy so.

inquired. will roll the dice on 12 3838s and if they are legit ill try other sizes
they are close to cxbs in size maybe they can use the same holders

i know that citi 048 and cxb3070 are a 1/2 mm off and that doesnt work.

I know nothing about building a light how hard is it and for a 5x5 area 5 or 6 small plants 3ft or so what kit would you recommend i liked your response to yours cost more I'm in construction own my own business people tell me the other guy is cheaper i say go for it. I give the best price i can everytime. If you find a better deal i don't blame you or get mad there is plenty for everyone
premade lights like northerngrowlights.com are an amazing value for what they return (esp relative to a box of unassembled bullshit)

DIY can be a value but its more of a hobby. nobodys getting rich making their own lights you have to want the thrill of the chase

What drivers would I need to run 6 cluo48-1212 at 50 watts a piece and 8 cluo48-1212 at 50w?

Did I read the specs right? These are more efficient at 50 watts?

Efficiency is the reason I'm switching. At 13 and some change a piece I don't mind buying a couple extra cobs and driving them softer.

Hmm why would somebody switch to led ? If you like to run 1g/1W I suggest you to use HPS much lower costs and allot of systems are build around It.
The same go for these Citizen chips yes the price is good and the lm/w ratio is oke but its one step back and since the cxb3590 price has dropped. I dont see any reason looking at leds that dont give me a higher g/w ratio then hps.

Even running at 250W, a Citizen 1825 is over 40% efficient. In other words...

"Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Willis?"

And at 50W whats the lm/w ratio ?
Anything below 180lm/w you can give it to Willis. Sorry but the CXB3590 is still king If you want a 56+ effi% fixture.

Ooh you know that Citizen has a 10% tolerance ? You builded in may a citizen clu48-1818 at 700ma when are you going to give us some real hard data ? On the 1818
