no need to be cryptical, link it up so people can take advantage. Mine are $40 after RIU discount btw....i may discount them more we'll see. i dont have many cree left and are prob moving away from them, stocked for convenience more than anything and selling them close to cost (which was more than $33)
I may be totally mistaken. I did a quick look on mouser and it looks like similar cobs are $53. Not the $33 I said earlier, those are for 3070, lesser quality.

If you are moving away from Cree, who are you going with? Citizen? What's your thought process on going with something other than what's considered "the best" on the market.

Forgive my ignorance on this topic, I'm not an LED expert by any stretch of the imagination.

3070s are top-quality, nothing lesser about them, they just happen to have a smaller LES (light emitting surface), they are in the same generation as the 3590s

in any case dont confuse "popular" with "best". All manufacturers have their strength and weaknesses in their designs. At the current time citizen chips offer more light at higher efficiency than the closest-priced CREE chips. If crees are dropping into the $30s to stay as some have speculated, it brings them more in line but citizen and the new veros are still a better deal.

Not dissing CREE, the results speak for themselves. just trying not to be the tenth cree reseller on the board

You need to stock Getian Cobs they're $4-10.

Your site looks good - nice to have another option for sourcing stuff :)

I'm looking to buy a bunch of components for a new 1825 build, to include heatsinks, HLG-240H-C1400B's, and possibly aluminium angle for the frame. If I could get these all from the same vendor it would be great!! Here's to hoping you've got the drivers and alu angle in stock soon.

In my cart on your website the RIU discount code seems to give me $10 discount instead of 10%... not sure if that is an error. Also I seem unable to generate a shipping quote from the website at this time. I'm sure these are just teething problems, but i just wanted to let you know @CobKits. cheers

A complete 1 stop shop would be nice! Especially framing parts. Tho, angle aluminum is too easy to get. But Robincnn mod designs would be bad ass

Seems like these guys are working towards that end. I would have to import the alu angle to my country anyway, so if I can add it to my order here it would be great!

@CobKits

What is with the discount code? Is it 10% like you said in the previous thread, or is it $10?
Would be good if I could see the shipping costs to Europe/Germany at checkout.

fixed the $10/10% discrepancy. it was listed as 10% but i had the wrong option selected, cart discount instead of cart % discount. so even though it said 10% it was defaulting to $10. thanks for bearing with me guys. will look into correcting the international shipping options. trying not to have a 'one size fits all' thing that actually overcharges people
