Intro Part 2

Hello to all and happy new year. I am new to the forum, some of the guys over in the Newbie section have been very helpful. I was originally going to purchase a fully automated 9x9 and 5x5 grow tent from supercloset but i see now that may not be the best option. I have priced out my own build using all the same materials they would have used. The 9x9 and 5x5 closets from supercloset would have cost me roughly 13000 shipped. They use kind led lights and it has been brought to my attention they may not be the best option. I have much more research to do so bear with me while i try to piece this all together.

my main concerns are:
electric cost
odor while growing
drying, curing and triming without odor (#1 concern)

i would like to:
produce high yeild
excellent quality
(and im willing to pay a premium to do so)

heres my list so far:

4 gogreen LED lights – $3200 (both tents) 3 for 9x9 and 1 for 5x5

Super flow hydro system 78 count (52 for 9x9 , 26 for 5x5 – $2940

9x9 gorilla grow tent - $1,166.39

Blue Guardian x2 $507.90

Co2 Kit x2 $479.90

5x5 gorilla grow tent - $437.39

Stealth Water Filter x 2 200RO - $439.90

Phresh Industrial Grade Activated Carbon Filter x2 - 8" x 24 - $325.90

2 - 8" Hurricane Fans – 235.90

Ducting and Clamps - $200

Nutrients - $100

Circular Fans – 100

$10,000 estimated

thoughts on this? anything im missing here? anything i dont need on here? this is just the stuff these companies usually include with the tents (they charge extra for the c02 and the blue monitor) , i am going to do a lot more research on all the add on products listed but - does anything stick out to you?

im also curious as to wether i need x2 of certain things, for exmaple. maybe i can use the ph/temp monitor on both tents?

thanks for taking the time to read my post

edit: i forgot, also curious about whether thats enough light for the sq/ft in the two tents?

Drop the CO2, have you grown before? If you want to grow the highest quality I would invite you to visit the ROLS thread in the organic section. You might want to talk to hyroot and other organic gurus in the organic section. The only thing you should spend a lot of money on is lighting. Good luck, and please don't spend 13000 for a 9x9 area that would be ludicrous, it will take you forever to see any profits, without experience, the best a rookie grower could ever dream of is 4 pounds in a 9x9 area. Include electricity and other ongoing expenses and you are looking at a 3+ years turn around. You could easily spend half of that.

There's three threads. From what I gather the OP wants a low-friction turnkey entry into growing. Pay for a system and have the telephone support to make the system work.

If someone could lay out an alternate system, the OP might go with it. But, it sounds like the commitment to support (the telephone support which comes with the pre-packaged system) might still be an overriding factor.

I think I confused matters when I singled out the Kind LED as the reason not to do the pre-packaged system.
