im sold on vortex and querkle youre the man sub !

I just sprouted the last of 8 successful spacebomb...1 probable male(keeper!). that's the same ratio as the 10 pack of vortex. the male vortex is about 1 wk. from pollen city! I need seeds for the winter crop; so I'll hit the widow,2 phenos of lavenderG, both types of master kush, and the nepali with Qtips. subcool has great female ratios(I have 6 strains of his). this fall, my best seeds will probably be the double cross between vortex and spacebomb- the beginning of operation stargate.

I can see one of the vortex is a bit more sativa(85-90%) and darker than the others...I assume this is the a13. the rest are lighter and totally uniform...as usual, I'll save both.......the 3rd. wk. of may,I'll have seeds from the vortex male and: the widow, both lavenderG's, the shark, and nepali...out of these, I think the shark offspring will be the ones to watch.

How does she do outdoors?

80% sativa.....you'd need to start them indoors and veg' them a long time to get weight...subcool says j.c.2 produces better...but vortex and spacebomb are his most killer strains...if you want something good this late in the season, something a bit less sativa will give you wieght, like the flav, and judging by the pix alone, it aint ditchweed!...or just run a bunch of the more sativa stuff...for the price, I'd get a mix of 5 seed packs. i'm currently running 7 of his: vortex,s.b.,j.c.2,astro queen,deep purple,querkle,and juggernaut. even vegging , they have trichomes forming.

Hey subcool thanks for all your work! I am with the other guy that asked earlier how vortex does outdoors?

I know it's got alot of sativa but Attitude seedbank states that it is a fast flowerer. So Mr.Subcool I ask you your opinion on if Vortex will finish in mid-Michigan?

the stats - start em end of march indoors, harvest no later then OCT 20th. Can it be done? I do not care about weight in the least so that ain't no concern. thanks

I just realized all of subcools strains have space queen xed in it

not all of them do, but from what iv read "space dude", the male space queen plant used, usually helps increase resin production without hindering the best qualities from the other strains used to make seeds.

Yea I have owned the beans for a bit and really wanna try to get em going this outdoor season. If subcool don't think it will finish here in MI they will be one of the first to go into flower next fall. I wanted to do a couple so bad this winter but had other work in the growroom and I gotta sprout em all at the same time.. basically not enough room. But darn am I ready to germinate them all

I've been smoking Spacebomb tonight (which I assume is Tinybomb X Spacedude) and it is truely amazing. The high is a work of art. It rises to euphoric sativa and then drifts down into uberstonage, followed by a wave rising to wake euphoria again and so on. Amazing.

Quick question for sub or anybody thats grown vortex, what would be a good size pot for veg for vortex if one was to let it flower in a 7 gallon pot? And what would be the optimal time for it to be in veg before moving it to flower in the 7 gallons? The lights used are 400w btw and only growing two plants and want them to get huge in indoors in a tent.

he vegges for 3 weeks in a 1gal pot then transfers to a 7 gal for another 5 weeks. 8 weeks total veg for the most part. they get pretty big in 7gal pots so youd prob be best just doing 1 huge ass one instead of 2... unless u want to do like 2, 5 gallon pots and LST the SHITT out of them

Thanks for the reply but they would most definately get root bound in 1 gallon pots for veg...but if sub does it then im definately doing it too cant wait to make hash out of them, I wonder if the hash from vortex is more potent than the fabled red hash from apollo13

Having smoked vortex as well as Apollo 13 hash, i'd say the vortex hash is similar to Apollo 13 hash only it has a relaxation and a little more euphoria, whereas the Apollo 13 hash is almost all RUSH RUSH RUSH

nah they dont get rootbound at all. 3 weeks in the 1 gal then throw them into 7 gal until u get to the 2month mark

where is subcool? I still wanna know if vortex would be legit for an outdoor Michigan grow? Will it begin to flower early enough... nevermind how long it takes to finish flower. That is not the question I am asking. I must know if she will switch a couple weeks after solstice or if it takes a month after solstice to begin flowering. You must grow outdoors to understand the question and it's importance I guess.

I haven't grown it outdoors...............yet! lol! I am amazed at how fast this strain flowers and finishes. She clones easy and is some of the best cannabis I've ever grown! Ever! And I've grown a lot of cannabis! I'm fairly sure it would be fine in MI as long as you don't get some freak snowstorm in September or an early hard frost. Here is a little bud porn for your viewing pleasure.
