Interesting Question....

Open topic to anyone with an answer:

Im growing in an aerogarden and am sick of getting male plants. Im wondering if i can sex the plants when thier younger and smaller with less root mass to see which are males and which are females. Once I've removed the males, I would turn the light cycle back to veg and continue growing. Is this possible??Last time i waited to long and the roots grew together in the basin, making it very difficult to remove the plants. Any ideas or suggestions would kick fucking ass.

Well, I too am an inexperienced grower, but I heard that male plants will smell somewhat citrus-y when they've sprouted.
I'm not sure if this is valid, but 5 weeks ago I planted 3 seed and two smelled citrus-y and the other didn't smell at all.
They were all the same height and had been growing for the same amount of time, so I took out the two "males", but the female hasn't flowered enough to truely tell for sure yet.

Just take clones of the females you have, will a require some veg time. Then you wont have to worry with it anymore. Either keep one plant around for a mother or just keep taking clones off of those you have before you flower them. Be sure to give them a bit of time to recouperate from the hack job before you flower.
