Interested in growing Lowryder

I've never grown a crop before due to the space I have to work with. Recently I've seen these Lowryder seeds and I'm very interested in growing them. I just have a few questions about the requirements for growing around 4 of these plants and I would be grateful for any advice that you guys can give me.

First off, where is a reliable place to order these seeds from? I've seen a few sites but they all seem to be out of the original LR seeds. This isn't a problem for me I don't mind growing a cross. I'm interested in Masterlow and LR#2.

Because these seeds are auto flowering what lights would you recommend. Can one light be used for the whole grow or would different lights still be required?

And finally, is there any other advice such as soil types, nurturance etc that anyone can give me?

Thanks in advance!

Is there any lights you can recommend? Would one light be enough for the whole grow seeing it's an af plant or would the lights have to be changed once flowers start to appear? I'm working with a limited space here so I'm trying to keep it as small as possible, most of the grow set-ups I've seen would require more space than I've got available to me.

for like 3 plants get 2 42w cfls at home depot for like 15 dollars.

alright theyre you go.

and yes you ccan use em for the whole veg-flower

I'd get one per plant - the plants get jelous. I've seen it happen. lol. Maybe even two per plants :D as many as you can afford and as many as you can control the heat of.

yeah, really get for each plant one CFL, they going really cheap lately and if you use only 2 for 3 plants the grow towards the light and possibly start to compete for it:-? rather get one for each as russ advises you to;)

if you want to make this grow worth your while your going to need alot of light freind. id go with 15 42w cfls or 5 each.

Don't waste your time with Lowryder, everyone I know who's grown them has been disappointed - low yield and so so smoke. Lowryder has very little going for it - okay so it can be harvested a couple of weeks earlier than a normal plant - big deal, so it's auto-flowering - big deal.

If you're going to be putting 3 months work into growing something, why not grow something worthwhile? Pick a strain that's easy to grow and has an established reputation and I guarantee that at the end of it you'll be glad you didn't waste your time with lowryders.

15 42W CFLs, that would be more then 600W in total, so he could flower straight away with a HPS that size!

exactly, this is why cfls are not practical, people say there such bigenergy savers, there wrong, to do the job right you need alot since they are poor lumens per watt...:peace:

Thanks for the input guys. Does anyone know of a reliable place to buy LR cross seeds? that would deliver to Ireland.

this is the female from my lowryder2 batch looks nice and compact with many nodes. the 2 fems I got are under a 200 watt cfl w/ mogul base and hood, and are about 4 weeks old, should be done in another 4-5 weeks. lowryder2 is supposed to be more resinous and have more yeild and better compact buds, my next will be a lowryder hybrid called masterlow, pic I have seen show many crystals and potency.
