Inspection note posted!!!!

Today I woke up to find an inspection note posted... there will be maintence coming thru to check fire alarms, appliances, etc.. and this can happen between now and a few days from now.. then next week a city inspector will come thru and check 10% of the building to make sure its up to code... FUCKKKKK .. they jus done an inspection a short while back.. now i gotta do something with my plants... fortuantly i only have some very very tiny lowriders :D... but i have a big ass 400MH cooltube...

So, Im thru with growing openly like this.. its time to go stealth... any ideas on a stealth setup that i can rig up after the inspectors come thru? For now ill just stay at the house with the door bolted and chained and ill be ready to move the shit quick...

i have a stealth closet... 2x 600w hps

and i was going to get an armoire type thing but i decided to go with tents... because i got another room that has 2 tents in it... a 2x4 for mothers/clones and a 4x8 for 2kw more flowering space...

home depot has some nice white cabinets that work well for growing... they come in different sizes, mode numbers like c22 or c23 i think. they are 2' deep, 4' wide, and about 6ft tall... you just have to add a lock to the doors, and light proof the bitch.

i had a buddy use half of the master bedroom closet with one of those in an apt... it worked well for him, with 1 400w, but he was dumb and flooded the place with nutrient rich water... he had to move after that. lol

Dude.. ive seen master bedroom walk in closets that are big enough to fit a small office inside of.. it would be awesome and the best grow space ... i need something that is totally concealed so a tent wont work unless it has a lock on it and looks like furnure... whats the benifits of a tent vs a large closet/cabnet grow?

well - tents are probably cheaper - and they have all the vents set up already, and a waterproof bottom... everything can be contained inside the tent, it just makes a little noise... like the sound of wooshing air. they are lighter, and can be broken down pretty easily.... the interior is completely reflective. and since the walls are so thin, you get more interior space... but they definitely DONT look like a piece of furniture...

but if your master closet is big enough to hold one, you could just put a lock on that door... there shouldnt be anything in there that a maintenance dude would need to see... (although, one of my friends has the electrical panel for his whole apt in the master closet, which is not ideal)...

a 2'x4' growlab is about $240 and comes with a shit load of vents...all you have to do is put a light, fan, and filter in it - and its ready to grow.

the 2'x4' cabinet from home depot is probably close to $200 (might be like 179?), but you will then have to cut holes in it for ventilation, caulk all of the corners, make sure the doors line up, and weatherseal the joint between the doors, then figure out how to lock it... with all the extra stuff you have to do to the cabinet the cost adds up... and it could pass for a shitty piece of furniture.

if you want a real looking armoire, that looks like a nice piece of furniture, it will cost a lot just for the piece you intend to grow in... real wood and shit... anyways, you got options... think about them.

k honestly i understand the want for stealth but i would measure the closet and fit a tent in there and put a nice lock on the door to the closet and

Its usually in the terms and agreements when you sign a lease for an appartment. They'll give you notice of inspections of various types. They usually do them once a month to once every few months in most appartment complexes. Just pay attention to what they check a few times, and don't put it there.

Unless you have a power panel in your room, they shouldn't go in there. Make sure you are home and wearing only your boxers when they come through, and they will probably want to make it quick. They have a lot of apts to check I bet. Show em the smoke detector works (make sure it does prior to their arrival).

the problem is that my plants are in my furnace room with the water heater and furnace... which totally sucks.. i totally need a new place to live.. i have the furnace room/ grow room cleaned out except for the light, fan, and plants... all the nutes, meters, spare bulbs, etc are already in storage so that i can quickly disassemble when they knock.... also i have a ONA (odor nuteralizing agent) can in there to cover up all smells.. (smell is very minimal right now) and im preparing to close shop while i take off... i think i have in under control now and i appreciate all your feed back

I used a gun the last time an inspector came... worked great til the cops showed up, then not so good...

I might toss all my shit in the tub, make a tape/cd of your shower/tub running, then play that tape (inside the br) when they come, closing the bathroom door and maybe saying someones in there if they ask, which I doubt?

i never thought of that MOBEEE.... ill reverse it next time... whats the purpose of having the black out and the white inside? The bags came to me this way so i never put any thought into reversing it.

Well everything is stashed away while im away but ill put it all back up tonight after hours and hope they stop by when its all disassembled
