Insects....

Help! I have a decent sized plant that is just showing signs of being female, only I have a bit of a problem.... THOUSANDS of tiny white insects in the soil!! And they seem to stay mainly IN the soil too, I've only found one on the plant itself. What should I do?? Are these insects harmful?

The plant is an indoor plant, it sits next to the window and gets fresh air and natural sunlight. The soil is store bought. So where did these insects come from and how can I get rid of them?? Or do I not need to? I just need a bit o help. O_O

Thank you!! I will try both the sticky tape and the tobacco juice. I THINK its the tiny white flys at the end, but doing the tobacco juice just to be sure as well.

Sticky Traps, not tape lol ... They're yellow sheets of plastic with really strong adhesive on both sides that the bugs touch and get stuck to. You can probably order them online or ask at your grow/hydro store for them
