Inline fan and heaters

I'm going to be moving my grow into the garage and need a little help. The inline fans I have now are pretty loud and was looking for efficient and quiet fans so I don't draw attention. Any brands you guys can suggest. Also looking for a space heater that I can leave on all winter without worrying about it catching fire. Any suggestions?

Just use bigger fan fan controller. Go 8 inch bigger hurrcaine work good so far. And cheap. Reliable. Tried HTG fan made noise after a month.

Space heaters are sorta dangerous. What I would do is goto Home Depot get work lights with normal 150 w sockets. And use put 100 watt incandecent bulbs in it. It's way safer. And. Incandecent put out about 90
Pct heat.

Op said winter. Depends on Humidty and VPD.

Yeah some strains don't like humidity to low. You'll get strange issues.

if u r using a fan speed controller, a variac is way quieter than the solidstate pwm controlers (these suck)

You had good experience with this EBAY electronic stuff? I am little skeptical with fakes. Cheap parts

Yes, i ordered a staco variac (u.s. made) off ebay several years and it works like a charm. I also ordered a $58 red 5amp variac (made in china) and it also works like a charm. Ill never buy transistors, ics, leds, or any solid state component off ebay becuase they are likely fakes. But a variac is old school transformer tech, so it doesnt matter as much where these are made, imo.

the cloudline fans are nice. i just grabbed a 6" temp probe cloudline and it's great. it gets left on 24/7 and adjusts speed according to temp but will keep some fresh air exchange at night..

id say that if you set the temp 2 degrees higher than you intend on having it, it will cool to that lower temp and slow the fan down to a quieter level like you would want. Like, i set mine on 78 so that when it sits at 75 it is a nice quiet purr, but if it gets hot it will speed up and fix things.

Fan doesn't shut down when it hits desired temp?
I did that.
