If anybody's figured it out I sure would like to know (model IHC-200 dual humidity controller)

There is no CF prompt on this chart, like there is on their temperature controller unit, so I have no idea how to change this from Celsius to Fahrenheit

-thanks

(Had this ? in another forum 'drying and curing' but thought more likely get the right answer here)

Been all over YouTube and the net trying to figure this out but everybody wants to talk about the temperature controller, can't find much on the humidity controller and what I can find doesn't mention the CF temperature change option ?

The first thing I would do is look for a phone number or website on your controller.

Call the manufacturer and ask them , or Google your product name with the word "manual" at the end.

Hope this helps. Whenever I have a question about a specific product like yours... I call direct. They usually have even more info that might pertain to you.

Good luck :)

They're in China, not on my calling plan LOL

I have the manual. what I can understand mentions nothing about changing Celsius to Fahrenheit

the only mention at all in the entire manual about temperature is to push both arrows in to see the temperature which of course displays in default Celsius

I'm sure somebody here knows & will answer eventually, it's been on Celsius since day one but since I joined here it dawned on me somebody here will know, thanks

Click live chat..

It's probably faster imo

Or just email them

I just bought one. I can help.

Hold the SET button till the LCD flashes. Keep pushing it till you see CF on the screen. Then push the up or down arrow. And hold SET again.1519734459420-889049710.jpg

Edit- I caught mine while the C/F in the bottom was off screen in the shot. But I'm set to celcius. But have tried the farenheit setting too.

Thank you for your input, I've mentioned before that while the inkbird temperature controller displays CF option, the humidity control it does not

I've put in a picture of the humidity controlers manual and that is not an option anywhere in the manual or in actual use

Honestly it's been in Celsius since I bought it, but I figured somebody here will know because I know cuz I see it mentioned in other conversations about it anyway I have an email waiting on a reply, I'll figure it out my friend, thanks again

Ah fack. The ITC 308 has celcius and farenheit settings. The IHC 200 seems to only display in celcius. Don't know why since it is made to work with EU and US plugs...

Sorry about the misinformation. I got caught up in the excitement of "ooh I can help".

That's, thats kind of what I figured out too, because I've been all over this controller, first when I got it and just the other day when I saw somebody had it in a thread

Absolutely nothing online, also this question was asked but not answered in the answered questions on Amazon, so yeah I don't think it changes to Fahrenheit either

If you ever have issues with it letting the humidity go out of control. I found removing and reattaching the sensor while its running, to fix the issue.

Some people are saying to put a silicone bead over the exposed copper connection area at the sensor (I saw it on YouTube videos)

.. have you tried this ?
I don't think it would affect anything, right?

They have an advertisers account over at plantedtank.net They respond to messages there.

For anything involving silicon, remember to tape off where you do not want silicone. it makes all the difference between looking like it was painted on with a pine cone, and a smooth crisp install.

I've only had mine for a week.

Oh I see, haven't had mine much longer. I had a drying disaster when we had humidity down around 14% in December so I really had to step my game up, this thing is working like a charm so far.. luv it!

There was a YouTube video with some guy putting the silicone on, it was a close up so I'll have to look at it again, if I ever get around to doing it LOL probably will

Starting tomorrow it gets its first real use, :weed:I've set it between 60 and 62% (at 65-68°) which it holds steady like a rock, very impressed so far

I'm thinking of taking my humidity controller out of the cabinet. And having it hooked up to a larger humidifier and dehumidifier. I'm finding the little modules can't keep up with the air exchange from a 4" exhaust fan.

It would handle that too! I'm going to have to buy another dehumidifier come summer, but that's why I love this dual stage it's going to work perfect for my particular situation and for drying forget about it it doesn't vary more than half a % in my little drying area (2' × 8')

I'll post up something about how it works, I'm going to start a harvest maybe as soon as tonight but definitely tomorrow

I've never harvested just the ripe top colas first but I'm going to start now. Have been drying hit-or-miss so far with pretty good luck but now I'm glad to have this kind of control over my drying environment..!

Going to give me at least another week to pound a thousand watts down into that newly opened up plant, I'm expecting mad growth!

I find just running a mini dehumidifier in my cabinet does fine with the drying stage. Just so long as theres not too much air exchange in a high humidity environment.
