Hey there just a quick question I have an oil filled radiator that is 2500w + 400w (not sure what the + 400w is) maybe the fan it has to circulate the hot air but that can be turned off now is the heater only 2500w when on full power as the inkbird says it can only handle 2200w so not sure if I can use it on a lower setting

Are there different heat settings? L, M, H? or a "Dial", or something. Often, with the radiator, "fin" style oil space heaters, Max is 1500W, Medium is say 900W, and Low is 600W. Low and Med have their own switches, and when they're both on, they add up to 1500W or "High".
So, there are probably two heating elements inside, a 600W and a 900W.

If you have a kilowatt meter you can check this.

Instead of inkbird. Look at bedroom heater controls. Programmable.

I use one to control my oil heater. Middle setting of 900watts. I've ran the heater at 1500watts for some time. No problems.

Plug in, bedroom heater controller*

It should work if you can get lower wattage. I have had a load of them burn out on me at 2000w tho. You need it at about 1000w really.

I just got one of these instead... way better quality and the control it tight!
