I am really reading into this and i dont find anyone using it or many ppl saying they are growing with it. anyone out there with information, all i see are claims and specs. But no proof of whats going on.

i see comments sayin it cant even compare to an led. so i owuldnt bother wasting money as they suk themselves.

realy and they even say they cant compete with led and those are the weekes out there....good luck with it

heres the manufacuer quote....

Hi, everybody. This is Jay from China as the leading manufacturer of induction lamp. I just speak English. Please understand.

I checked out your messages above, and i want to point out something as following:

Firstly, the luminous efficiency of induction lamp should be within 70~75 Lm/W.

Instead of pointing out the complicated parameters, i would like to state its excellent features firstly.

1. Energy saving: 50% off comparing with HID-HPS, HPM, HM, etc.

2. Super long life span: Theoretical service life - 100,000 hours. The average life is not less than 60,000 hours.

Combining 2 points above, the maintenance cost could be saved. Coz 100,000 hours HID must be replaced regularly.

3. Higg visual luminous efficiency. RA is over 80. It meas, it is most close to nature light. HPS is less than 40.

4. Low light attenuation. Less than 16% after 20,000 hours.

If anybody interested in more about it. Please email me. I will send more details and informations to you.

notice how in red he avoids what the main item we need to know is. he beats around the bush with other features that realy arent that important to its penetrating power being raw lumens. having the colour and life is nice but with no power it wont get anywhere.

Did you ask him about growing with them? The reason I ask is because all the ads I have seen are more geared toward area lighting(for lack of a better word?) not growing, well with the exception of grow shops that is. So if that is what it is geared for then yeah he did provide the info. To a business saving money is a big thing. So the matinence savings alone is a big factor. Plus they tell how it compares to traditional hid which are expensive.

i didnt ask anyone, that is a post in the link provided on a pot gropwing forum. this is just sales mumbo jumbo. talks like a polotition and wont answer directly, beating around the facts we need to knwo and in my experience if they do that they have something to hide. sure may be fine as a reg household light but no intensity as we need......same as led`s
