Nice experience with induction light technology, it is very efficient and reduce the energy conservation. For energy saving announcement to the green certificate of the users and drastically reduces the power generation constraint for the equivalent amount of light shed.

I have 3, 300 watt IBeam induction lights. They work great for flower. The only reason i mention the brand is I never hear anyone talk about them.

Got any pics???? .............their claim to fame is it weighs very little, correct?? what's the coverage for one Ibeam???.....yeah your right I've seen zero grows with them, show us yours:P

My IBeams weigh about 7lbs with ballast. I have only ran one grow with them and was completely satisfied. I grew 10 grandaddys. A friend of mine grew 7 grandads with clones from the same mother. We both grew in the same brand and size tent. He used a 1000w HPS, and AN nuts. I ran 3, 300w IBeams and FF nuts. I ended with almost 28 grams more per plant. Now I am almost at the end of week 4 of flower on my second run. Lights are off right now. I will take photos tomorrow morning and post here for you to see PSUAGRO.

I Beam makes an awesome 300 watt light that runs cool is light weight and compact. Covered about a 4 x 4 area. Saw some nice looking Kush going into flower under one. Toss us those pics Mr. O.:lol:

Its funny with all this shit between I grow and inda gro. The I grow guys used to work for Darryl at another company.

Is it a state patent or federal patent? You know patents and trademarks only hold up in court in the U.S. they would have to get patents and trademarks in every country.

Those only hold up in court based on precedent not law.


From all the slander coming from igrow I would not want to buy one. That gives me the impression that they are shady and hurting for sales like ben at hydro hut.

Its probably the same troll posting about Igrow under various accounts. They are all brand new accounts and haven't shown any grows with the light.

How would you know they are being shut down? Are you the judge or the lawyer? Have they even been to court?

I call shenanigans. Inda gro has been around much longer than I grow. They both get their bulbs made in china.

I never see or hear anything negative from inda-gro about igrow. They want induction to have a seat at the table. Hell I even list igrow earlier in this thread at post 9 as an induction supplier.

I say put them up side be side and may the best product win. But that will be hard in that igrow requires two lamps and inda-gro only uses one. Not a truly equal approach but I say it should still be tried. If inda-gro's single veg-flower lamp is guilty of an igrow patent infringement I'd be interested in seeing exactly which patent they've infringed on; the veg or the bloom? JB's got 20 years in the business and 3 posts here at RIU. Do your homework first JB.

Hello all,
I have been reading on in this thread lately as I have come to have interest in purchasing one of these lights. I didn't know about induction lighting for horticulture until about October when my local shop in the frozen tundra here got what would appear to be a large endorsement from igrow since they have a pretty large display when you first walk in. So they were the first company I heard about so I started researching and the vast majority of people choose over them is inda-gro better for obvious cost reasons (no 2nd bulb), so I went back to said hydro store and asked my trusted shop hand what the biggest difference was between the two and he said " that the other is getting shut the fuck down through a law suit, and that 10 year warranty won't be good within the year, and that there light does need two bulbs and they have been buying bulbs from igrow but not the bloom". I was very disheartened to hear this as I had been leaning towards buying an inda-gro (think he picked up on that lol), and the follow up question I was prepared to ask was would they be willing to order some to the store for me since I had conversations with the owner previously where he said he would order "anything I needed".... But as I did not get this far I find myself wondering, has my local shop become a propaganda machine for igrow or do they speak the truth? I am going to send an e-mail to inda-gro today as I would like to know the actual circumstances behind this lawsuit and hopefully they will clear some of this up.... If not looks like I might be spending a bit more money.... Happy Burnin

China is all over it bro. igrow should be doing side by sides with LVD (which is junk btw) since that is where the igrow dealers real problems are going to come from. :roll:

It's a shame just how many retarded morons there are in this business.

If a shop owner had tried to spoonfeed me this bullshit I would have told him to fuck himself and I'd make sure nobody I know ever buys from the douchebag again.

I unfortunately placed to much faith in this shop... I contacted inda-gro and there president darryl gave me a speedy response stating that it was preposterous that there would be a lawsuit, sorry for the confusion. And to clarify it wasn't the shop owner who told me this but a person who's advice I had taken and with positive results until now. I haven't bought a ballast from them because the store owner hates the idea that I use LED and I am now looking to outfit my (4x6) flower tent with induction lighting and so as of now it's inda gro going in my tent and not any of the lamps they sell.... so to say the least frank i will take a page out of your book and not give these crooks my business anymore

It is a shame! The fact is there are certain manufacturers (you know who you are AN) that has been breaking down nutes for years so that the retailers can pimp this shit as the best thing since pockets on a shirt. To the trusting uninformed gardener seeking advice from the best resource they know, this incestuous relationship between the mfg and the retailer has driven profits that the poor customer had to bear since they didn't have a readily available basis of comparison. It's about trust being breached between what should be a win/win relationship between the retailer and his customer. The mere fact that a retailer would enter into an unholy alliance with a company that spends all their energy talking shit about a competitor regardless of whether its nutes, lights, tents, whatever tells you something about that retailer. The retailer should be PROTECTING their customer from this type of nonsense by thoroughly vetting the manufacturer, the products and the claims. That has definitely not occurred in this case. Customers vote with their feet. This store will never know why they're losing customers but losing customers they will. To any retailers out there pulling this shit, like you get pissed off when one of your customers chooses to use an LED panel be warned: people talk and forums are ubiquitous. Your greed and stupidity will not go unnoticed.

Retailers are a business and they're in to make money. If they decide to stock shit for lack of research they're stuck with it and need to sell it, which is why you hear unfortunate things like above.

Can you imagine how it used to be before boards and forums. So many people must have been screwed.
