Indoors Spring 2020 auto grow... Join me...

This Spring, actually February 4, I started some autoflowers, as well as a sampling of photoperiod plants. Now that I'm two months into this grow, one thing is obvious: The autos are really small, and the photoperiods are growing a lot faster, with much more biomass. We are growing in fabric pots, Coast of Maine Stonington Mix, and full spectrum LEDS. The pictured plant is 42Fast Buds "LSD-25." Here we are, two months into the grow, and it's only 10" tall. First shot of whole plant is from a week ago. Yesterday I noticed the top bud is growing a bit, so I did a close up. I love the color and the frosting, but I don't like the size. I also have some 42FastBuds "Tangiematic." Started a little later, but the same deal, very small plants, 8" after nine weeks, just beginning to flower. Do autoflower "explode" with growth going down the home stretch? If not, these autoflowers are going to be duds in terms of yield. Also started Mandalorian Genetics "Anvil F6." I didn't notice they were "regular" seeds, and the first four out of five were males. The lone female has yet to bud.
Meanwhile, back at the photoperiod ranch the Brothers Grimm "G-13 Genius" and Mass Medical's "PuTang" are healthy and vigorous, a lot taller and bushier, too. So it's not a matter of soil or lights, because the photoperiods are really thriving. Mandalorian's spiel says, "Several test plants have yielded in the 1 lb. + per plant in the correct care and environment." I will be rotating through my autoflower seed stock over the coming months. Hopefully, I'll come across something that grows big and fast. Just to repeat my question: Do autoflower "explode" with growth going down the home stretch? Thanks.

I have only done a few autoflowers, and they were small also, but not that small. It looks like it's either over-watered or lacking nutrients. The yellowing leaves indicate an issue.

I've been growing autos using my 2 300w LEDs (bloomspect, 123 actual watts per light) for 2 years and thought they were doing a good job. I'd get anywhere from 30-60 grams per plant. Switched to 2 150w HPs a month ago and the difference is UNBELIEVABLE!! Leaves are healthier, buds are way more dense and temperatures are actually down in the tent.

I'm not an advertiser but the Sunsystem 150w HPS on amazon prime is an awesome deal.

I'm in on this. I started a little before April on my current round but a couple more will be going in soon.

This is the auto tent right now. The three smaller autos are 24 days old today. Two on the right are Advanced Seeds Auto Kaya 47s, the one on the left in the hempy buckets is a Seedsman NL Auto. The bigger gal is also a Seedsman NL that's been flowering for about two weeks now.

All grown in 70% FFOF/30% Coco coir under a SpiderFarmer SF2000. They've all received a light dose of CaliMagic and the big girl has been getting GO Bloom, Marine and Black Diamond.

I'm going to start at least one more in my seedling tent soon. The upcoming rotation (in no particular order) is Mephisto 4 Assed Monkey, Creme de la Chem and Forum Stomper x Fugue State and Seedsman Strawberry Glue. Open to suggestions on which to drop next!

I've got Sour Sheriff and Black Cherry Pebbles from WickedPissah on order too so they'll get mixed in when they arrive.
My black cherry pebbles broke soil today! Stoked to see how it performs alongside two mephisto beans. My two favorite auto breeders in the game right now.

The white lights sound intriguing. I'm guessing that's a white widow/northern lights cross?

Mephisto 4AM seedling in her new home. Trying my own soil blend this go around.

NL Auto is starting to get a little chonk too.

I did end up evicting the other NL a couple nights ago. She just wasn't growing right, but more pointedly, I'm pretty sure that bucket was the primary culprit in my fungus gnat problem. Went to check on them and the surface of that pot was literally crawling with the little shits despite several treatments of GoGnat.

Looking good right now!

Top half of my GSC auto that went 63 days has been drying for 96 hours. Just got home from work and had a nice 4/20 treat!!! This stuff is killer, as always. Slight plant smell to it, but i'll put it on the drying racks for another 2-3 days. Temp and RH is perfect in my drying box, sitting at 72 F and 48 RH. Pretty much there the entire 4 days, beautiful.

This is 15.5g right now. It will probably end up being about 13g. The bottom half of the plant has been hanging for 72 hours, with leaves still on it. I'll start doing some trimming on it in probably 2 more days. Those buds are not dry on the outside yet. I'll post some pics once it gets nice and trimmed up.
