Indoor reservoir

I have a drain table with my plants on top of the table with a drain hole leading into my reservior which is an open tray. 4x4x7 room. YES do exhaust and intake fresh air.

My humidity wont stay under 50%. I do have my reservior inside my grow room, which is uncovered and this is my thinking of why it could be humid inside the room.

1. Is an uncovered Reservior a greater cause to higher humidity?

2. Is haveing a covered reservior a better idea in general?

yes having a covered reservoir would be a better idea... helps prevent your water/nutes from evaporating .. ph/ppm levels wont flux so much and you could have to much moisture in the air with the open res. combined with any heat in the room which i would say is adding to your humidity problems.. but its really hard to know ... it could also just be the plants breathing lol which ventilation/de humidifiers etc could come into play... it might not be adequate with the ventilation you have setup

Thanks Stoney.

I did vent the undercarage of the drain table which is a sealed undercarage besides the actual drain hole itself and it dropped my humidity in my room from 60-70%
TO A PERFECT 40-50%!!

Went with the test it myself before asking techinque and that worked out just fine!
