I'm nearing the end of cycle #6, and what you see here are some of the creatures (mostly springtails visible) that are preparing my soil for the next cycle #7 grow.
I waste nothing from my last grow - leaves, stems, stalks, even the left over washed bud from making bubble hash gets put back in there as a mulch during the course of my grow so that nutrients are continually recycled. The sole source of nutrients for all my grows comes from such organic material that is quickly eaten.
