Indoor growing time frames?

I have some seedlings (check my grow journal), I was wondering what sort of time frames I would be looking at, for vege, flower and harvest/cure? I really want to have my buds ready for new years. Will I make it?

You should start your 12/12 cycle by october 15. that way you can be pretty sure it will be harvested by the end of December. So another 5 weeks of vegetating. Plenty of time to get those plants nice and big.

Excellent, cheers nodrama. What techniques do u use to increase yield? I have had so many mixed answers. So I am just looking at them as opinions now. For my sort of time frame, what would you suggest?

Don't forget to factor in a few days of drying and curing time. Just because you harvest it doesn't mean you can smoke it. Humidity and temp will effect your drying times. Cool, dark and dry with good air circulation are best.

A week a minimum, better two weeks. Read about how to dry and cure properly. Two different things.

Also you might think about doing a couple new clones every week so that you can start a perpetual harvest. If you make clones every week then you also end up harvesting every week.

Geronomo, Heres the secret answer to your questions....Knowledge! Many people have written books and produced video to explain time frames, yeild, drying, curing etc... Seeing that you have seedlings, you have a good month to get educated while your plants are in veg mode. There is a ton of info on these forums and also alot of disputed opinions. There are so many different variables involved to a successful grow it sometimes seems overwhelming but its really simple once you have the knowledge. NoDrama gave you a good timeline. As for yeild, it depends on: the growing medium, light, air, nutes, heat, humidity, size of container, ph of the water, SEX of the plant, bugs, mold, disease, nutrient deficiencies or OVERLOAD, discipline, knowledge yada yada yada. Good luck and I hope you have a great new years celebration. Keep it DANK!

Growing styles vary because everyone's situation is different. As you spend time here you will find that there is more than one way to skin a cat. Because of the huge variance in climate, room size, lighting and strains people try different things in order to find what works best for them. What works for one situation may not work for another. Don't even get me started on nutrition. It can be simple or very complicated depending on your level of commitment. Then there is soil, soiless and hydro growing. I started out with some simple soil growing with some used lighting. That way I was able to give it a go with a small financial commitment.

Welcome and enjoy the site. There is much information to read here by going to the GrowFAQs located at the top of each page. I read for weeks before I purchased anything or finished designing my rooms.

And oregon meds, I would love to do something like that but I only have one room set up, and wouldnt I really need 2 for flower and veg? Or can I just put it str8 to flower?

I got 2 400w hps lamps, a carbon filter, fans pulling air in and out. Fan inside for a breeze. The room is 2m wide x 1m deep x 1.6m high. Have you got a grow journal?

hey geronamo,

you've gotten lots of good advice. one addition - assuming you do the basics right, the single biggest factor in determinig the yield of an indoor grow is light. the more light the better. shoot for at least 75 watts per sq ft if you use flourescent and 50 watts per square ft of growing area for hps.
