Ok so, ive got a few plants growing in a pot by a window that gets a good amount of sunlight, they are growing well and have just started the 4th level of leaves. As you can see in the pictures the bottom single finger leaves have started dying but otherwise it seems healthy!

I have planted in some dry neutral ph orchid mix which it seems to be taking to quite well, all i want is a couple of buds without the use of any lamps or anything! have a look at the pictures and tell me what i should do to make it flower or flourish! Cheers guys!
(should add it is just under 3 weeks old)

If your using natural light then you just have to wait for the season to be right. Unless you do 12 hours of light out side then putting them in a closet for 12.

They look alright for a windowsill plant, the lower leaves are wilting because they don't get the light the upper larger leaves get.

To induce flowering they need 12 hours light 12 hours pitch black. So yeah, basically put it in a closet or cupboard that won't be opened until the 12 hours is up.

your going to have problems later. the rule of thumb growing is only one plant per pot. they will compeat for room & nutes later. you might want to put them in their owen pots befor the roots becomr inter twined

They should only need 10.5 hours of pitch dark to start to flower judging off of outdoor. They should really get 3 hours of direct light a day min if possible. Some growers keep plants in veg and only use a hid part of the day. A 7 watt cfl is usually enough to keep a room in veg. If you are like me and can not afford a light bill you could try a HID for only three hours a day and 7 watt the rest. I can get you 250watt cfl 2700 or 6400 with shade for 66.66 with shipping if your interested. I am placing an order with a friend who manufacturers them next week. [email protected]
