Indoor grow Pure Afghan Regular seeds x3 286w cfl grow

Hi everyone I am doing an indoor grow and all the specifications are below:

Strain: Pure Afghan (DNA Genetics)
Sex: Regular
THC Content: Unknown
Average Yield: 450-550+g/m2
Expected Yield: 150g (5.29 ounces)
Flowering Time: 7-8 weeks
100% Indica

I am currently waiting for x2 125w Blue spectrum cfls but for now they are under 30w which is not enough at all so I should get the other lights within 4 days. This is my third grow following the other two got busted; the other grows included Mr nice seeds- walkabout and C99 Outdoor.

As mentioned above I hope to get at least 150g yield from the three plants if at least one is female and I do not plan to breed them but I might take cuttings.

If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to add them to the post and yes I know 30w is not enough for them to grow fast but it's enough to keep them alive!

Sorry for the quality of the pics I had to turn the light of because the crappy camera couldn't handle them.



Will have weekly updates and by the time I do my second update I should have the additional lighting necessary.

The last picture shows the tallest one but with the least growth when it comes to the leaves and the first one is the shortest but the fastest growing in terms of the leaves... middle one is short and 50/50 when it comes to the leaves... So far they're doing good; oh I forgot to mention that from 8am til' 4pm they are soaking up natural sun light on my window sill.

After a month of indoor growing I will put the plants into flowering as this isn't really a proper grow; it's more of an experiment to see how much yield I get and if there are any males I will keep them but not breed them. But lets just not skip too far...

BTW: The reason I am growing is so I can make Cannabis oil for pain relief for the back of my neck and back which I had for over a year now and muscle rubs or anything like that didn't work and I do not intend to sell; the harvest will only be for personal use.

Should get x2 125w cfls within 5 days and then hopefully will see a faster rate of growth for all three plants. Once I get some plants outside I might just start another grow with about 5 more plants and with 150w extra.

first off you have had two grows busted, i think i would do something different. remember never let anybody know anything. the more light the better. from what i read you have 2 125 watt 5000k to 6000k and a 30 watt which you didn't say what color. if you can handle the heat by all means add some 2700k to 3000k lights. i run some of the blues mixed with the reds in flower.

Im going to use 5500k and I might sound like a total idiot but I'm using x1 30w cfl for now... I should receive the x2 125w cfls 5500k within 2 days and I will hopefully do an update but I see where you are coming from about you should not tell anyone which I haven't as this grow is only on rollitup and no one else knows. The 30w isn't giving out any heat and there are no light leaks... the plant receives 24 hours of light a day and a little less than half is indirect sunlight.

Will have some updates in 4 days and so far they have two more little leaves popping out which should be a decent size when I do my second update... Thanks for taking interest in my grow everyone and thanks for the advice.

Sorry for the delay peeps, the stupid post is taking forever and should have everything by Friday (2 days) I just finished re-potting all three seedlings as they were in 2cmx2cm peat pots, they are now in 5cmx5cm pots (rough estimate). The seedlings were not root bound but I thought that i might as well re-pot them so yeah I did.

you can always run down to your local store and grab some more cfls to add. i say that and you may be more in the sticks then i am. you got enough of the blue, add some 23-30 watt 2700k. believe me they will like it. i got to transplant this weekend myself. good luck.

Good luck to you to... my seedlings ain't much different from last time because they ain't getting enough light and now the eBay supplier for the lights can't guarantee delivery for tomorrow! This grow is going to be a total flop! Buh will update when they arrive (hopefully ) Peace

i don't know where you live, but here in the states we have walmart, and home depot, i get cfls from both of them. if you go do something like that get the 23 watt atleast and go 2700k. walmart also has a clamp type work light you can put your bulbs in to reflect all the light with.

Yeah... In the UK theres not much of those kinda shops and you have to do most of this online on eBay and Amazon etc. - But lets hope I do get my lights quickly... My plants are hardly growing at all without them but on the bright side they're not dying or sumtin'

I got the lights, will post some pics later on.

Yeah, I'm sure they will, the first set of true leaves (lets hope I'm correct) have increased in size and the pics will tell you the rest

Light Cycle: On at 7:30am and off at 10:30pm

Pics are not too good.... and had to once again move the plants away from the light source because the camera couldn't handle them!

There is a bit of difference from last time but not too much of a difference.

Will upload some more pics in 2/3 days - Hopefully next time I'll have a better camera at hand

Your setup looks pretty decent, better than mine; I'm looking for a few cheap grow tents on eBay

Ok people... so I was thinking about starting to feed my tiny plants some nutrients in a week from today and was hoping for some suggestions on this:

Miracle Gro soluble plant food (blue color)- Feed at 1/5 strength. Details: 24-8-16 NPK (After every 3 plain waterings)

I think the plants will be old enough to handle the nutrients after a week and I will decide on that by the size of them, I will only be using the product listed above for the veg cycle and no other products so please do not suggest other products as I am not planning to invest any more money than I already have for the veg stage (for now).

Im using air injection soil technology. theri are a few videos out their you can watch that shows more. i love soil dotn want any bugs so this way works best for me. i have led ready on the other side when i flower them and ill still use cfl on the sides also cant have to much light. and this setup i have a good chunk of money into it. all the little things add up so fast i bet i have $1k into it with seeds and all. but im set and when ready i can take clones sex them then take other clones and grow the ladies that gives me time to fim and supercrop ect.
