Indoor Grow Experiment

So I started a plant awhile ago (bag seed) just to see if i could grow indoors. I originally started with 3 cfls (2x24watt 1x60watt) but unfortunately I am only running 1x24watt due to technical difficulties. It was planted in soil and no nutrients have been added (water feed only). She's been in flower for about 2 months now. I was just curious if anyone could give me a guess for how long she has till harvest and how to tell when she is ready???20150917_234647.jpg20150918_135328.jpg 20150917_234647.jpg 20150918_135328.jpg 20150917_234046.jpg

I would let it flower until 80% of your hairs turn red. I would do this due to the small amount of dried bud you.will end up with due to light deprivation. 2 to 3 weeks should do it. If you got that off a cfl I suggest getting more started asap. I would also reveg that plant if you dont have anymore of that seed looks like it will grow under any light condition and thats always a plus!!!!!,!

Thanks for your advice dabstar213. I have some clones rooting but how do i reveg if already in flower? Just change the light cycle?

It will take a little bit...if you have clones...and are 100% forsure they are going to survive... don't bother to revel that....just start saving money to get better lights or even more cfl's ! I bought a t5ho for $50 bucks of ebay

If your gonna save up get a real light!!!!! Looks to me like your ready to advance!!!!! Join the 600 club get you a 600 digital ballast set up... If you have room!!!!! It has a 50/75/100 setting so can start on 300 watts and learn your way up!

Looking at that plant its amazing no part of the plant is yellow or necrotic only being grown under a cfl!!!!! You should definitely think of advancing your next endeavor!
Thanks for the love dabstar. Even though others find it easier to be negative. I don't have the room for that unless i could find some type of small housing for it or a wing. How much does it usually cost you to run that per month and how much do you pay per kilowatt hour for your electric?

Awesome job. Hey I may b able to show u how to make a wing. Super cheap made it out of stuff I had lying around. Not the best design but it works. Cfl reflectors are over priced I think and very limited as far as they're applications. Plus I don't think they actually make wings for cfls.

I run a 1000 watt halide to to veg probably cost $60 a month for two.months then I leave halide in until veg ends and true flowering begins then I switch it to hps for 8/10 weeks at $40 a month to me electricity is cheaper and your meds will be better than the pretindo being sold as top shelf around the corner

Wtf it cost me $90 a month just to run a 24watt cfl on a 12/12 light cycle

my electricity cost 7 cents per KWH but for easy math, let's say 10 cents per KWH

so a 1000 watt bulb would consume 1 kilo watt in an hour (KWH), which would be 10 cents

thus a 1000 watt bulb would consume $1.20 per day (running for 12 hours/day) X 30 days = $36.00/month

if your 24 watt bulb is costing you $90/month, then either you have the most expensive electricity in the world, or your calculations are incorrect

My electric is $10.05 per kwh
