i have a couple DNA roadrunners from freebies and was wondering how the light cycles work for an autoflower plant indoors? Do i start at 18/6 or throw em in the flower room at 12/12 from the start go??? I have had nothing but good times with DNA so would really like to check it out...

i thought it was strickly outdoor ??? is it better for 12/12 or 18/6 to start ?? I M just mess'in with the strain but misel get a kick!
You can do 18/6 the entire grow, or 20/4. Autoflowers respond to age not light. What about nutes.. is there growing compared to heavy buddin

No never 12/12 an autoflower. Either do 18/6 or 20/4 from seed to harvest. Like I said they start budding on their own regardless of light schedule. You can grow indoor or outdoor.

Excuse me for saying differently guys but I am currently growing 20 easy bud autos from royal queen as well as some master kush normals in the same grow, I turned from 20/4 of veg cycle after 4 weeks to flower cycle now 1 week in to flower the MK and have to say, it has not stopped the easys from going off, they are budding up really well and the stretch in one week was about 6 inches, they have levelled out now it seems and are fattening up. I will try to get pics up to show everyone but excuse me if it takes a while. I have no reference as I have never grown these before but royal queen says 250-350gms dry per sq. metre.

I'm doing aeroponics in an amazon twin 32 hole and a 2.4 x 1.2 x 2.0m tent from budda room.

You can grow autos in 12/12 from the start, but you won't get as much growth as in 18/6. Usually autos start showing sex around week 2 or 3, no matter the light cycle.

Out of curiosity guys, has anyone ever grown autos under 12/12 as well as 20/4 or 18/6 to compare the yield difference? That would be interesting to know.

Yeah I 12/12 a Barneys Farm Flower Power and it produced way less than my buddy's who just did 18/6 the whole grow. They were seeds from the same pack with the same soil and same nutes. We shared the cost on an order.

i tried some lowrider #2s this summer, and i got much better results from the ones i kept in my 18/6 cabinet. Nearly the same yield, but significantly more desirable bud from my veg box.

Cheers Juicebox, good info to know, it would make sense that they would produce more as they are lifespan based.
