indoor and outdoor is it posible

i have plants outdoors and and i have a indoor set up. i like the way the plants grow outdoors so, they are outdoors all nite and day, when i get home i put them indoors under a 400 watt HP for 3 hours. the reson i put them indoors is i whant them to get bigger befor they bud, is this a good idea

How would them being inside make them bigger? I don't think you can beat the light output of the sun.

Exactly what Charfizcool said.When indoors you are just making an artificial outdoor enviro. I would have left them outside during these times and I bet your ladies would be full grown trees!! KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!

i dont think it will hurt but ive been told it might stress the plants with the lack of consistancy of light. you could try and if you see any negative effects just stop. couldnt hurt...good luck

the thing is that, were i live thers allready 12/12 outside. and the plants are goin to start budding , so i dont want them to bud yet,.

oh...well in that case I think I'd do the same thing you're doing (even if it is a hassle). As long as you aren't exposing roots by moving them I'd think it'd be fine.

Moving the plants unnecessarily is not a good idea.

Where do you live? I am not aware of any location in this hemisphere where it is 12/12 already.

maybe southern hem ,as it is winter in oz at present , apart from those lucky enough to be in the tropics up north it is fucking cold and wet an i would say about 12/12 ?:peace:
