IMG_20180724_222323.jpg IMG_20180724_222525.jpg Hi guys first time posting and first time growing, and I used bagseed as I didn't have access to good genetics at the time (Green Crack is next on the grow list!)

I started with 4 plants, two male, one hermed hard core. Bananas and sacks, luckily I caught it early and I have done a ludicrous amount of reading so I sprayed her down with some water and bagged her and removed her immediately. Sprayed the entire tent down after too.

So I'm down to this last fine lady and boy she's growing nicely.

I'm using 8 23 actual watt CFLs, I have a 4/4/7 grow tent, however I have the area she's in sectioned off a bit to better utilize the light.

She's about 28" tall, and 24" wide.

When I put her into flowering, she was 17" and mature (nodes we're alternatively and many preflowers)

I'm growing in soil with plenty of earthworm castings and rabbit manure (composted) and while I don't have great nutes, 15-30-15(money, getting better for next grow), she's been doing great only one incident of nute burn and one incident of growing into the light!

So I guess a big ramble, just to ask if you guys can tell if she's more indica or sativa? And how much longer do you think she'll need?

Edit: the pictures did Not Work. Hm
Edit 2: figured out the up load evidently I am baked, what a suprisur.

And I guess to show her off I'm pretty proud :)

nice girl there :) i suggest ,to buy an LED light (there are cheap ones) and the result will be much better :)

Yeah I figured more sativa dominant cause of the leaves but the fact she didn't even double in size in the stretch made me doubtful! I'm saving up for either a 250 or a 400 watt HID. Cheaper and more efficient tgoufgill have to improve my ventilation.

Vegged her for two and a half months first. Topped a bunch and what not. I know people recommend letting the plant do w.e and just learn your first grow but I'm a bit proactive lol.

I've learned quite a bit this grow. I'm excited to start my next one, however I'm thinking she's going to need at least another month in flowering before she's ready which...

Ahhh man I'm so impatient but I don't wanna play myself of a better bigger harvest yknow??

That's exactly what I was afraid of heading :( however! I know it's a bit silly to ask, but how much size do you think she's going to pack on?

I figure with another 6 weeks shell likely get real thick, right? She's already pretty bulky.

Its only starting to put its weight on, dont expect too much from 180w of 6500k light. Judging by looking, maybe 40-60 grams dry idk, hard to scale that plant from a pic.

Honestly 40-60 Grams would be pretty cool for a first grow, 2o would be nice. Wouldn't mind more, but i just don't have the money available right now for better lights. I may be getting a couple bigger watt bulbs from Amazon soon though esp if I have another 6~ weeks to go.

She's hard to get a good pic of she's pretty big though :) I'm planning on harvesting the top when it's ready and then dropping the light down and let the bottom go for a while longer, if I can, to get the most of the plant.

not bad looking, nice to see another cfl grower around.....

she's high satvia by the looks of it, i'm guessing a 70/30 split hybrid, so watch height if it's the case.

just fyi, it would have been good experience to finish out the hermie, this way you can practice other things, and who knows you might get a surprise or two....

I didn't have anywhere else to put the hermed and it was like....full on over took the female parts overnight basically ball sacks and bananas. I'd rather concentrate on this lady here then end up with just seeds.

I check on her daily, sometimes more just to make sure all is well. Honestly I don't really need more height on her, even if I have the space. I'd rather her just thicken up more :)

I started as a bucket grow and then suddenly I had a tent to i started with cfls. I'm poor however, so it'll be a while before I can upgrade. They work, but I'm sure the others work better. I'll likely use them as supplements as needed in the future.

it's all good, i use cfl's as well......it's a poor man's thing....but at least you learn what the plant can and cannot do....recently i've been moving over to LED bulbs, taking the covers off.....just a little something you can upgrade too later on....

the last on of my grow this year hermed, glad i have the space to finish it out and see what it was.....smoke pretty good, smooth too.....so yes you can smoke it, seeds yes you get those too......but over all at least you can have something else to play with while the other girls are finishing, that if you have the space...

Yeah just one tent for me, which does drive me a little cause I want to start growing ankther plant while this one finishes but alas itsi not in the cards for me :( maybe in the future though who knows!

I've heard a lot of mixed reviews on LEDs however Google searches tend to bring up things from all ages so it's hard to get a proper grasp of what's actually happening in the LED world lol.

i used these:

just take the diffusers off....you can ck around with other people around here that use them, you can replace 1 clf with one of these....and they make them in 5k and 3k for flower....just something you can cheaply upgrade with

I've seen those around do they go higher watt?
no they don't or at least i haven't found ones that doo.....but they do work, and it's a cheap upgrade....i get 3k flower bulbs of those for like $5 ea, and like with cfl's you can mix them if you want.....but those are the ones if your interested to look for, just becareful of taking the diffusers off....to give you an idea of what you can do here is a plant i did last season......with a led bulb combination with clfs, this is when i start converting..ok....just to give you an idea...

Looks like a 80/20 Sativa Indica hybrid

Save up.. Get a cheap hps maybe 400w or 600w rather than upgrading slowly. You'll cut down on veg time you'd probably need 3/4 weeks. Up to you tho :)
