Increasing resin ect?

I read somewhere on this site that on the last week of flowering,, to stress the plant say like kicking the pot bending it about ect.. to increase resin and trichs

Any one done this? is there any truth behind this?

IMO that sounds like a great way to get a hermie...have never heard of this, thats a first! now there is many myths out there on what to do. IMO if the plants genetics are not string enough in the first place you cant force more out of it. I have heard that if you supplement lighting with a UVB bulb (ones for reptiles) this will cause the plant to create more resin to protect itself from the rays. they kick out some heat though as they are used for basking and 110 degrees F.

i have heard of it, rusty nail in the stem ect...i wouldnt try it and also read it doesnt work, low humidity during the last weeks helps.
