theres a shlew of them, but a majority of them will stunt your plant somehow and prevent overall bud mass from reaching its otherwise full potential.

A week or two before you harvest them jab a nail through the bottom of the trunk of the tree.( Small nail) by doing this your stressing the plant and the plant send more resin up the trunk to fix the problem . actully do it 5 or 3 days before harvest . my dad told me this and i read it out a book ( A jorge Carventas book) make sure you cure your bud also !!!!

Can you show us a pic of you doing this to one of your plants and the final results?

I've heard of this "trick" before but don't know if I would ever try it.

Blackstrap Mollasses, not sugar. 1tsp/gal. fattens buds up and makes them more dense too.

yes the nail idea is serious. I have heard about it also but never seen it done but the theory behind it makes perfect sense. You are causing high stress a FEW DAYS before your chop so the plant will react and as a defensive mechanism it will produce more trichs. I will personally stick to molasses, and cha ching nutes and uvb light for more trichs until i see this done personally.

I agree, the theory seems to make sense, sort of. I might give it a shot on my least favorite plant 2 or 3 days before I chop it. I'll try to do some more reading up on the subject first. I'll post back if I find anything useful.

well taking everyones advice here I bought two reptiglo 10 uvb cfls and also I am jabbing the base of the stems. The ony thing is, when I look at the buds with magnifying glass, there is really no more room for more tricombs. The whole bud is fully covered. The buds are huge too. I wonder if I am hurting them for no reason. I think the UVB was a great plan. 6 hours on either side of the noon 12 hours. Scientists say it increases your THC in buds by 30% and in leafs by 45% (in their experiment) There is lots of reading on this on the net. Seems creadible too. SO yep Id say UVB is the way to go.
