Use what you have, the cubes and the powder or gel. I find that they die if the temp is too cold. Try to use a light close to the clones in your container with the dome so the heat from the light keeps them warm. Keep the cubes moist but not soaking wet. My problems with cloning have been the cold more than anything else.

Use the gel and the rockwool cubes take plenty and keep them kinda warm.....just remember to mist frequently and dont wet the cubes too much or your stems will rot......keep the cover on until they look like they are established......the main reason for failure when cloning is neglect.......

it is said that clones root the best with 24 hrs continuous light. make sure to change the water daily..doing this replenishes oxygen lost in water. and if that box is air tight you should cut open a little door on the plastic you have. get those lights as close as possible.
