Improvised Propagator

Yo growers!
I've started my first grow, presoaked 4 purple widow seeds and planted em nicely in some soil. I am using distilled water and the temps are about 80. I had to improvise a propagator to get higher chances of germination. Now I got two questions which I want to ask.

* Can I have too much humidity for germination?

* Since I don't have a hydrometer and I have no idea what the % are in this plastic thing I made, will it be a good idea spraying water as shown in the picture?

Ignore the plant on the left. Its not cannabis.

I hope to get em growing asap so I could transplant and get em to my good rig, not my shitty chair lol.

Any tips will be great!
Peace! :joint:

you don't need a humidity dome for seedlings. just plant them in your medium and keep in a warm dark place, once they break the surface, get them under light.
i applaud your ingenuity, but there's no reason for it...just keep the tender seedlings under either a fluorescent or CFL for a bit.

edit:
never mind, you are using cfl's.. you're good. you are tending to them as if they are clones right now.. but seedlings have a root system to intake water, and clones in essence drink through their leaves until they grow roots, hence the need to keep humidity high for them so they don't dry out.
